Lyanka Gryu: "It was difficult to cope with the frosts"

Anonim

- Lyanka, do you confidently agree to the role of Irene Adler?

- For me, it was certainly very interesting and pleasant for me. But first of all, I wanted to understand: what a story, what a character who will shoot. It must be said that when I read the script, I really liked it. I "swallowed" him in two nights! Plus Andrei Kavun - the director with whom I have previously worked, and therefore trusted it to professionalism and taste.

- The most of all of you interested the offer?

- I fell in love with Irene! Such a role is a real gift for any actress. Playing such a heroine, try yourself in this role - for me it was a kind of challenge. Well, of course, a stunning acting ensemble, who gathered in the picture! I really wanted to work in such a team.

"You had to plunge completely into another era - I read that in order to accomplish the role of the XIX century lady, you specifically went to museums, studying the manners of women of those years. Tell how they were preparing for the role?

- Just on the contrary: I tried to abstract from these high hairstyles, heavy dresses, lace gloves - because it all distracted me from the main, "closed" from partners, from the character. First time, with the director Andrei Cavun, we paid a lot about "not playing a suit." Since he was very important to keep those of my qualities that he liked so much on samples - sincerity and naturalness. As a result, it seems to me that I managed it.

- What turned out to be the most difficult?

- Credit with St. Petersburg frosts! (Laughs.) Since under the historical corset it is impossible to wear any insulation, and the winter was harsh. Plus, it was very difficult to learn songs in German, French, as these languages are completely unfamiliar to me.

Lyanka Gryu:

- You had to learn more and sing?

- Yes, my heroine in the "profession" is a singer. And in the XIX century, academic vocals dominated, which I absolutely do not own. Therefore, I hired a teacher with whom I did in order to look convincingly.

"You probably were familiar with the work of Arthur Conan Doyle?" Did you have any kind of vision of Irene Adler? What did you imagine her?

- Since Conan Doyle has this image was scheduled for literally dotted, I did not have a bright idea about it. It was clear only one thing: if Sherlock is not indifferent to it, then there is something definitely in it, of course. Unique.

- Andrei Kavun interpreted the image of Sherlock Holmes completely in a new way. How did he see your image of the fatal beauty? What instructions gave before shooting?

- We, just, wanted to get away from the image of the fatal beauty, which Sherlock "read" at first glance. It was important for us to show Iran from another point of view: not so much adventurist and theft, how much gentle and sincerely in love with Sherlock a woman, ready to sacrifice his freedom for him and even life.

- Many actors have tried to the main role of Sherlock Holmes before the director approved Igor Petrenko. And on your role was considered any other candidates?

- I do not know who specifically, but heard that more than two hundred actresses tried on this role.

- Have you watched overseas gear of Sherlock Holmes? Who do you like the actress most of all in the role of Irene Adler? Did you take someone for an example?

- I watched all the screening of recent years. I love Rachel Makaddams very much, but it was in the role of Irene I liked the actress from the British "Sherlock".

- What did the shooting remember? This is your sixth historical picture.

- The shooting in the series was remembered by the amazing thoroughness and details of the work of artists on makeup and artists in the costume: every appearance of my heroine was thought out by artists, her mood or condition was passed through the costume. Inspired by the scale of filming: Marso field was turned into an Elysees where ladies were raised with cavaliers and drove wagon.

- remember especially some scene?

- Night scene of escape from German Embassy: In the plot I had to run through the winter night forest in one open dress. But, since, the director allowed to sketch on the shoulders coat. We shot this scene, standing on the knee in the snow, all night. Coat of the Naraspa, very windy and wild frost - minus 25 degrees! It was very difficult to pronounce the text with the lips from the cold.

- How do you feel about criticizing the project? Someone from the audience found this new version of the controversial.

- These are hasty conclusions. Very many, this interpretation was carried away, and about criticism - everyone has the right to his own opinion. Therefore, if someone wants to criticize, it does not hurt me at all. On our television, there is so rarely a movie of such a high quality that I am not ashamed of our work.
