- At their desire, the rest is often chosen, rather than any duties. But we have an agreement with them, that even what they do not really like, they will continue to do under our sensitive leadership until nineteen. And then they themselves will decide how to be.
- Daughters share with you with your thoughts, experiences - in general, with their lives?
- I have always been a dialogue with them as with adults, and now it will develop already in friendly, almost equal.

- Yes, I played five performances in MHT. Of these, in the end, only "the year, when I was not born," but when Oleg Palych, the kingdom of heaven, left, then the play was removed, and could not be. I am very sorry for the performance, but it cannot be compared with the departure of a large person. Oleg Palych made so much and with such warm noise and swirl walked along this life, that he is still here and long will be near. Those who knew him personally worked or even was just a spectator, they say that everyone has his own Oleg Pavlovich Tobacco. For me, he was a teacher and senior comrade, although I am not his student literally. But contact with such a scale in people in any case is a wonderful school, and not only professional: it is their attitude towards other people and to themselves. - I was quite pleased with how my acting fate was developing at that moment. And it's not about the density of my work in the theater. I guess I am not exactly the usual artist in the usual understanding. For me, popularity is not so important. I do not even really understand how I agreed to this interview, somehow intuitively. (Smiles.) Because for me, all this is a very closed area. I can talk a little about one or another work, but ... there is a filter: I and the profession, and I want to usually finish.
- Why are you so closed? Is it in life so?
- In life, in my state, everything is open. (Smiles.)
- And what circle is your state?
- These are relatives and friends. And if you return to work - in those years, what was offered to the cinema, I did not like or we did not agree on any other reason. I trust fate. What should happen will happen. In addition, if a person does not work for a while, he has a wonderful time to prepare himself for any further work. It seems to me that at this age it is no longer necessary.
- What age?! You are thirty-five, and today and sixty - not age ...
- At sixty, nothing is not necessary at all. But in my age, it seems to me, it is better to do even in five years something one, but significant than in a stream and a lot - a lot.

And the artist, I think, in the process of work, you need to get rid of it, it interferes, because you start controlling you, look at yourself from the outside. - Did you know about the novel by Alexey Ivanov "bad weather" before the proposal of the director - what is this rather gloomy story?
- I heard about the book, but read it only after the end of the shooting process. And I probably even lucky, because the script is still the interpretation of the book, and in order not to add something unnecessary to the character, it was not necessary to read the work itself in advance. This is a dramatic story. Veselessness makes the heroes choose a hard one, sometimes an uncompromising path of survival. But Ursulaka always has the light at the end of the tunnel, because he himself like a person is a bright component, and it is always a little higher drama. For him, life is still in the first place.
- Who is your hero?
- Former soldier who falls into the team of like-minded people, defending the position of the Veterans of Afghan. He was tired of life in the skies, and he wanted that it was logical, to break out and become the head of his fate, which led him to certain actions. The film affects the period from 1989 to 1999.
- You started with sincere, open guy, such spacecles, you had and Alyasha Karamazov, and then there were a lot of characters with a double bottom, tough, as in the same "bad weather." And in the "Inquisitor", your hero is just a quiet rascal, the killer. It was scary to put in his skin?
- I had three-four things, Alyosha Karamazov - hardly a spacet. And thanks to Yuri Pavlovich Claus, director and "Karamazov", and "Inquisitor": he is a professional that in his hands you feel easily and free. But the "Inquisitor" is a genre story, fictional literature, so all the same good wins evil, albeit with losses. And if we talk about "bad weather", then my bassunas are a forced evil, justified. He does not touch, she communicates, in his opinion, with confusing people who used to show themselves as strong, capable of serious steps and actions, but now, in his opinion, passing their positions. And for me, as for the artist, his actions are very clear.
- We are almost everywhere we see you with your face, but you manage to change greatly. What external details help you create an image, character?
- Thank you. This, it seems to me the best compliment for the actor. (Smiles.) I don't even change hairstyles. And I like this way. True, Yuri Palycha in Pelagia ... I was a brunette with long hair. Probably such a detail is, as a rule, gait and hand behavior. And I know only me, this is my trump card - such a kind of patch nose for me, from which I am pushing out at the beginning of the way. But the main thing is all the same - the emotional component of the character. Each hero in any case has one angry act, no matter how good it is, and one is kind, no matter how evil it looks. And in these borders, I'm already starting to fantasize.
- You "crawl" in very complex, ambiguous heroes, and in life you understand these, read?
- All the same, one or another hero is derived. You show your best way or the worst - the whole thing in the paint, which is now needed. Probably, thanks to such characters, look carefully inside, and it helps to better understand others. But since childhood I understand people well. I always trusted this feeling, and my stranger assessment was usually correct, with the exception of several mistakes.
- Sasha, why did you go to VGIK?
- At fourteen years I graduated from school, fifteen was fulfilled in the summer. And when I reached the competition in Mkate, and they found out that I was fourteen, they said: "Wait another year." And I did not want to wait and for the year I refused this venture.
- How did you cool so quickly, refused your dreams?
- Just life with the open doors was so interesting and unique that it captured me more than any plays.
- What did they do that year?
- What just did not do! I thought I would sail downstream, smell in any case. But my mother asked me to go to at least Vgik to listen - I promised her. I was sixteen when I entered.
- Alexander, why did you want to say goodbye to school so early?
- It became boring, I already had the theater. And in general, the vital activity outside the walls of the school shook: and love, and a bunch of some cases was always, and the sea duties ...

- I am very glad that I have two wonderful girls. And in general I was just glad to appear children.

- Your mother is a Russian teacher and literature. Was she strict with you?
- With such a mother, spelling and handwriting is my horse all my life. (Laughs.) I think she, seeing my writing, closes his face with horror yet. But she is not strict. She had the two most important components of her life: a house and work. And the house and all that is connected with it is in the first place. And the concept of the house includes children, granddaughters, many relatives.
