In January 2012, we first tried yachting, starting immediately from learning to skippers. We studied in 2 yacht schools. The first was the advertised Russian school in Turkey. Extremely bad experience. But we decided to try success once again and went to the international school to the famous Yachtsman Jim Gokov. And it was magic. We finally understood what level there should be a real yacht school and what should be the instructors. Jim is an amazing, very interesting person. He made 2 round-the-world travels, is the winner of numerous international regatta. His school is based in Marmaris (Turkey) and works all year round. Training is conducted on 9 main programs. In the school's fleet - 3 yachts: the legendary Mat12, Beneteau 40.7, Dufour 41. Jim is a valid instructor, and get to him for training - a real luck. We went out in the sea every day, despite the weather conditions. "Strong wind, high waves? Excellent! Today, get storm practice. " Every morning at school begins with a walk and yoga classes. I have experience walking on the sail and the motor in Montenegro, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, participated in the regatta Tangoregatta 2014. At the school of Oleg Goncharenko, in which I studied, there were a very professional instructor, separately I can note the instructor Yuri Pugach (Certified IYT Instructor (Sail, Power), head of the Kiev branch of the school). Now there are many schools, and there are no problems with the choice, but for me it was important that my instructor does not just taught me the skills of the yacht management, but also infected with love and passion for yachting!

Mastering the yacht is easy, it is possible to start having fun in the learning process! It is very important to properly prepare in terms of equipment and clothing, as the sea is element, and weather conditions can be very severe. I use waterproof clothes with a membrane, it does not wet, dries quickly, protects against the wind and the sun when it is necessary.
It is very important during Seyling to be a team, work as a whole under the guidance of the captain and comply with all security rules on board. If there are doubts about weather or some more conditions - do not risk a vessel and people! Security should always be in the first place.
Yachting for me is a feeling of freedom and flight on the sail waves, quiet rustle waves, every time a unique sunset over the endless horizon!
