On October 12, a solemn presentation of the joint art project of the photographer Alexander Khokhlov and Valeriy Kutsan called "Weird Beauty" ("Strange Beauty") took place in the Moscow Art Cafe Gallery. The event was organized by the International School of Professional Makeup "Make-Up Atelier" and the Art Cafe "Gallery".

In the main lobby of the cafe on this evening, professional make-up artists of the Make-Up Atelier school, decorated with the faces of the guests with fancy black and white patterns corresponding to the party themes. Guests, with full responsibility approached the dress code of the event - black and white colors in clothes - awarded an exclusive wall calendar with photos from the WEIRD Beauty project, where the authors willingly left their autographs.

Leading events, Dilya (TV channel TV), in a solemn atmosphere, presented the authors of the exhibition - Alexander Khokhlov and Valery Kutsan, who talked a little about the history of the project, the meaning of his name, as well as the technical features of the training of photos.

Among the guests of the party were famous stylists, makeup artists and photographers: Natalia Ivashchenko, Alexander Kuvvatov, Irina Rudova, Anna Okazhazhya, Sergey Longray, Alexander Badova and many others. Some of the main heroes of the project, models adorning with their persons photos on the walls of the Cafe "Gallery", also took part in this solemn event.

The WEIRD Beauty project is a series of 15 portraits made in black and white gamma with unique painting of persons (Face Art). The authors offered the ideas of nontrivial and bold images, inspiring when creating them as a "classic" and modern computer technologies. Thanks to the use of only two colors, Alexander and Valeria managed not only to make excellent accents in the drawings, but also to create an effect of optical illusion in these photos.
