No boasting for the sake of the report, and the report for: during the years of travel, I visited my daughter, probably almost all the most famous fleets of entertainment in the world - from the Paris Disneyland to American Universal Studio (not considered less well-known, but sometimes even more exciting). Only here I did not have time to get to Singapore. Although it is here, as numerous guidebooks assure, the park is "the largest amusement park in Southeast Asia" with the "highest paired American slide in the world."
The park is located on a separate island, which can be reached on the funicular.
That is why one of the days of our stay in Singapore we decided to completely devote to the slings, swings, carousers ...
The first surprise expected even before we were, in fact, in the park. By defeating an impressive queue in a ticket office and posted on 72 Singapore dollars per person (about two thousand rubles for everyone), together with "peaks" received valuable information: American slides do not work. Why, when they open - there was no other details and failed. Later somewhere on the expanses of the Internet, I read that it seems like some of the days something there was falling off right in flight. But it is not a confirmed fact. In any case, the surprise was not pleasant. At least, my daughter was preparing morally for a trip to these miracle slides still on Phuket.
Children of younger school age here are a real expathere!
Apparently, the local manual approximately assumed that information about their temporary closure can sharply reduce the human stream. Otherwise, why do this news report only after buying tickets? By the way, another oddity of the local park: while you do not pay money for the entrance, you do not even learn the map of the park itself. That is, information about what is there, in the end, is, for some reason, it is strictly classified.
The second surprise was already expecting inside. Storage cameras where you can leave things (if you suddenly decide, for example, swim along the river in the "Lost World") - paid. More precisely, the first 30-40 minutes can you use a cell without money, but if the queue is long (and sometimes waiting is stretched and for an hour, and on one and a half), then you will need to pay. And when you come to get drunk through, then you will provide drying - also for money (five Singapore dollars). Well, I said: Singapore - dear city!
Among visitors, we saw not only children, but also quite a serious young lady.
The park itself is very similar to that Universal Studio, which in Los Angeles. Approximately the same show "Water World", even some attractions are the same. But in size, of course, the American will be more. And more interesting. Probably, only an attraction "Transformers" is that, for what it was worth going to Singapore Park: You can ride it infinitely. It is a pity that the other three-dimensional show also like this, so here is the longest queues.
But what is a lot in the park, so this is entertainment for children of younger school age. For example, Madagascar is leisurely cruising among famous cartoon characters. Or skating cars in an ancient Egypt. Not to mention numerous shows.
Some streets of New York are recreated in the smallest details.
But we arrived at attractions, from which blood leaves! In short, having troubled a couple of hours in the park, I realized that this time I personally want to spend on local spa salons (I didn't regret it!) And the daughter decided to stay until the closure. And the conclusion made this: "If I had seven or eight, I would stay in full delight!"
So we will put the Singapore Universal Studio in the waiting list: we will arrive here, perhaps, in three or four years, when Stephen will grow a little. Will be fun!
As in the American Universal Studio, the atmosphere of Hollywood reigns everywhere in Singapore.
Well, and it's time for us to say goodbye to Singapore. True, until the last moment I strongly doubted that we would be released from the country ...
