On the existence on the island of Mountain Monkeys (Monkey Hill or Khao Toe Sae) we learned by chance. And it was very surprised that this mountain did not become a place of pilgrimage of tourists. For some reason, there is almost never anyone here, but there is an opportunity to see monkeys outside the zoos cells. We decided that Stefan would be engaged here. And they did not lose!
From the top of the mountain there is a stunning view of the capital of the island.
How and when our smaller brothers settled on the mountain, do not even know Thais. Only one thing is known: it is one of the biggest wild monkeys on the island. The most amazing thing is that the whole day these monkeys are huge families together with young sit right on the road, which leads to the top, and give up from rare tourists food. They are very good to taste nuts and, naturally, bananas (do not forget to capture along the way to the mountain!) There are no fear of passing machines, there are no monkeys, so drivers sometimes have to flash headlights for a long time and signal. We say: this is a wild place where the main things are not people, but just monkeys.

Nevertheless, the very top of the mountain still costs to get there, despite such a "living obstacle". Although there are large television antennas and no smaller trees, view of the capital of the island - Phuket-Town is impressive.
By the way, Thais themselves believe that the Mountain Monkey is the sacred place. Maybe therefore, no monkey for all the time of living on the mountain did not suffer from the hands of poachers?
The local inhabitants of Stefan were impressed. As, however, Stefan impressed local inhabitants. True, in order to avoid problems from the car, we did not go out and communicated with the brothers with our smaller under reliable protection. It will be necessary to come here once again in about six months.
