- Polina, you first take part in a ballet project. What is your role in production?

- I starred in the video, which will become a kind of trailer to the ballet "Great Gatsby". At the same time, we had independent work with the composition of Immortal Feeling, which Konstantin Meladze wrote for the whole ballet. I have a very unusual and interesting role. I am not playing a particular character, but personify the soul of Daisy, the beloved Gatsby. Thanks to the director Alan Badoev, I felt a beautiful bird in a cage, which is looking for harmony, suffers and, as a result, dies.

- They say you worked with foreign specialists ...

- In the video, an unusually beautiful choreographic production from the relevant American choreographer Duight Rodin. He is the director of the whole ballet. Very colorful and interesting choreographer. He has his own individual handwriting. His performances are known worldwide. Duight worked with such stars as Prince, U2 and Lenny Kravitz. It also works with Circus du Soleil, its COMPLEXIONS troupe is known worldwide. I was very nice to meet dwight. It's nice that he appreciated my work. For Dwight, as for an American, the work of the "Great Gatsby" is like a sacred graveyard, and he is very preferable to this work. Therefore, its high assessment is especially flight. By the way, Dwight Roden is so imbued with the work of Denis Matvienko, who will fulfill the role of Jay Gatsby in ballet, which even burst out during the filming of the final scene.

- What do you remember most about the shooting?

- Of course, this is a unique, very accurately recreated atmosphere of the 30s. Participation in a similar clip for me is a kind of creative experiment. After all, before that, no one has created anything like that!

- Have you ever encountered any abnormal situations on the set?

- I was very surprised when I learned that according to the direction of the director I will have to rotate in the hoop. When you needed to rotate on it at an altitude without any insurance. Moreover, in a very short dress, high heels and with huge nails. Fortunately, it cost without falls. But I had to constantly monitor the dress to do not go away during acrobatic etudes (laughs). The complexity of this role was that it was necessary not only to sing, but also to play, get into the image, feel the experience of the main character. This is a very interesting, although not an easy experience. I carefully prepared, I even reread the novel before the shooting.

- Who did you leave your son, have you been on the site?

- Andryusha, as always, was with my mom. Of course, we called. I call home several times a day - this is a rule. I always miss my son. But this separation was not a long, I left for shooting just for a day. Then immediately returned home.

- Where did you get the costumes for filming?

- Honestly, I saw a dress already on the site. The artist in costumes previously reported only my sizes, and he did everything you need. Everything else is the director's design.

- How do you yourself feel about the ballet?

- I love ballet very much and in general dance art. I grew up behind the scenes - my mother is a professional dancer, worked for many years in the ensemble "Birch", then under the contract in Greece, where we lived. Dance is a huge part of my life. I myself was professionally engaged in dancing. Ballet always admired me. I understand how much work and strength is behind each production. I watched how I worked on the site of Denis Matvienko, this is the highest pilot, dedication to the last drop.
