The future project is called "Lviv Hunters" and will be partly a remake, partly sequel to the last film of the original franchise. According to rumors, the plot will unfold around the son of an elderly policeman who wants to become a cop. Presumably, the Chamsworth character will be the son of the hero of Mela Gibson - Martin Riggza detective. Justin Lin, who pulled the third, fourth, fifth and sixth part of the "Fastsa" will be directed by the film. And the script is instructed to write Will Bill (Hungersters on Gangsters). It is not yet known whether Mel Gibson and Danny Glover Glover - the stars of the original cinema will take part in the project. But a couple of years ago Gibson denied his participation in any continuation of "deadly weapons." At the same time, the actor said that the remake would be a good idea.
Recall that the picture "Death weapons" was released on screens in 1987. After it was shot three sequels, published in 1989, 1992 and 1998. In total, all four parts of the franchise collected more than 950 million dollars.
