Did not give us a Thai visa in Manila. More precisely, they asked such a number of documents that it became clear: and here it became more serious with the issuance of tourist visas. If last year you needed to receive a return ticket from Thailand last year, then we also asked for an extract from a bank account (and for some reason from the Thai bank) and a certificate from the place of work. Explanations that I personally do a child at the moment and I don't work anywhere, I did not inspire anyone here: there is no reference - there is no visa.

So the day the day after arrival we, having failed on the farewell of Manila, left for the islands. Chose the most closest to the Philippine capital - Mindoro. Located only 150 kilometers, and you can not get there by plane, but on land and water: about a couple of hours on the car and one and a half - on the ferry. This moment was for us the most decisive - somehow I do not really trust the little airplanes banned between the islands.

Although Mindoro is one of the largest of seven thousand Philippine Islands, for some reason, tourists (especially Russian-speaking) is not particularly popular. Everyone wants to go to Boracay or Palawan. One of our friend who lives on Boraca for more than a year, did not even hear about the existence of Mindoro.

This, admitted, was the indisputable advantage of the island. Due to his low popularity, Mindoro does not frighten crowds of tourists, housing can be found right on the seashore, and prices are noticeably lower than on other Filipino Islands.

Here, on Mindoro, we spent a whole week. In the morning bathed in the sea, in the afternoon, lying on the veranda, they watched others, and in the evening they were chosen for dinner in the nearest towns - Puerto Gite or Sabang. Full relaxes and no work: due to the terrifying Internet (more precisely, his almost complete absence) was interrupted in the world, the texts lay were missed, but I personally slept for half a year ago!
