What is this new job for you?

Alexey Guskov: In this film, I am an artist leader, producer and co-author Scenario. Therefore, of course, he is very important to me. Producers do not happen so often, it is always very personal my statements and reflections. This time, so that here in such a fun and light form to tell about what occupies me now, from the script before the release of the film on the screens it took me five years. I am rather "piece" than mass production, so all my films for me as children. When I release a movie, I first work with the text - from Synopsis to the script. Then I am a financier, looking for money for the film. Then I am an executive producer, together with the director and the operator-director, collect creative composition. I need him to be in order to be more likely a family than hired people. I always want to infect them with my idea so that people want to do for the film maybe a little more than they are written in the working contract. This film is removed in the comedy genre. It is unusual to see you in such unexpected images. Alexey, you wanted irony, including over yourself?

Alexei: It has long been said that all the greatest nonsense is made with the most serious face. We are generally not enough irony and self-irony. One of my recent Italian pictures is called "Confession". She took her Italian director Roberto Ando. There is such a genre of political kinopamflet, in which he works a lot. In this film, where he rines a mechanism for the conclusion of the most important contracts at the interstate level, I played a certain collective image of the Russian minister, and I had wonderful foreign partners - Daniel Oti, Tony Servlo, Marie-Jose Cryz, Moritz Blybittroy, Pierfrance Favino, who played representatives of other states. And when we sat down in the frame at the negotiating table, we got the G8 summit. And they all looked at me and said: "So we have now G7, without Russia." What Ando replied: "Well, and that, now G7, then there will be a G12 or G5, but without Russia anyway does not solve anything." With serious persons, the biggest nonsense is made, the biggest absurd. I grew up and completed by school in Kiev, someone with a serious face listed on some site, and now I can't take my mother on the grave of my father, buried in Kiev at the bike cemetery. I have now touched very big things, but I want to say about it. And if you return to the film, then I think that even over a very serious topic can be laughed. No one is offended and not assisted, but cared for life and everything that happens in it, with humor.

In general, the comedic genre is close to you?

Alexei: Sometimes it seems to me that my whole life is comedy. (Laughs.)

Lydia: Yes, I love comedy. I like to play within it. I'm interested. Another thing is that I, as a rule, "lucky" on women vamp, women of power, women of power. I am very grateful to Peter Naumovich Fomenko, who gave me the opposite image - Lyubov Ivanovna Raddinin in the "without guilt" - a soft, vaporous, loving. This is another policy, another character. Of course, I like, like any actress, be diverse. Sorry, fate does not always give such an opportunity.

Roles completely coincided with your vision of them? Or had to refine together with the director, the attitude towards what is happening?

Alexei: Casting is such a "interior" story, from the word "Nutro", somewhere at the level of the pancreas. Because all the directors, to one, they say that a good acting casting is 70 percent of the success of the painting. I am grateful and grateful to all his colleagues who participated in this picture, in small, in the middle and large roles. Casting was very sighting and long. As a result, we worked only with those colleagues who always did a little more than simply "like," actively participated and brought their own. As, for example, Oksana Fandera, who manifolds itself and supplemented its role, offering some new scenes that we simply removed additionally. That is, it was a real co-authorship.

How are you used to working with the director? You do not mind completely surrender to his hands? Or defend your principles, argue with him?

Alexei: I am brought up in certain traditions of the ratios director and actor. The actor is definitely to some moment the co-author. But then he is obliged to fulfill what the director asks, although the actor has the right to ask the acting double. I will tell an example from filming the French movie "Concert". When our first tweet was held in Paris, the director said: "Here we have read everything, you heard my comments, and I'm waiting for you add-ons, objections and your ideas." We all left, someone came up with something, someone - no, then there was a second chitka, where our additions were made, something from the script was removed, or the director asked to leave as it was, explaining why and what he had in mind. But when on the third shooting day, he asked one of my colleagues to pronounce a replica written in the script, the colleague refused, saying that when we sat at the table, it was one story, and now she looks different. The director once again asked him, but the colleague refused: I will not speak. Shooting stopped, a producer ran up to my colleague and showed him the page of his contract, where it was written that the actor is obliged to speak the approved script and fulfill the requirements of the director. Then turned 13 pages, showed the place where sanctions were written in case if the actor will do it, and asked: "Well, work on or stop?" After that, all questions that relationships exist on the set between the director and the actor, for me were removed. Another thing is that, unfortunately, directors with such a demanding to yourself, as Rada Mikhailean, not so much, and anything happens. But I am brought up in such a coordinate system. In any case, if I have doubts, I ask you to make so-called acting dupils or something else.

Lydia: I always live with the motto: "Do not argue with the director, the director is shown!" If I see that the director offers me, something is wrong, I understand that it could play differently, in a different way, I do not offer words, I show. And if he takes it, work is faster. Showed, liked it, approved. No - went further. And if I have already agreed to the role if I went with him in the so-called swimming, then he is the captain of the ship. But this does not mean unconditional subordination as the Lord, this is a creative process, it is discussed. The main thing is to trust. Without trust, there is nothing that in life, that at work. Trust is very important quality. I am generally happy for our cinema of recent years. A lot of talented young directories came. And Zhenya Shelyakin is one of them. I was very easy with him. Moreover, it is a very intelligent, erudite person, he does not press actors. Picks up the necessary words in the desired intonation. He is a psychologist. And you immediately understand and immediately do everything. I got a tremendous pleasure, working with him on the site.

The acting ensemble consists of the older generation and youth. How did they find a common language? Senior helped younger?

Alexei: What does it mean "helped"? We have all professionals. If someone asked questions, then, of course, received answers. And so, leaving for the set or on the first rehearsal, we are all equal. All at the same conditions.

Lydia: I am from those actresses, which if in a pair with a young partner see that he is a little mistaken in solving this scene, can gently tell. But this if the director does not find the right words. Sometimes they ask. Sometimes someone does not want to hear anything. This is all individually. But I try not to offend my partners. Even if I see that he is not going there, I tactfully and gently try to make it come to the opinion that I would like to see. So that he understands what he wants from him in this scene. Actors, they are all wounded. And I just have no right to climb someone else's kitchen. If you ask the Council, I will give.

Your attitude to the partner?

Alexei: Holy. But my teacher Evgeny Alexandrovich Evstigneev said: "Fear of a weak partner, run from him, go only to strong. Because weak will smear you on the plane. Pulls down. And a strong partner will drag you up. And the cast attitude will only lead to ringing emptiness and loss of taste. " In general, learning is the key to the fact that the actor is alive. There is such a definition from the actor - alive. He is alive if he is constantly learning. As an example, I ran into a scene with an absolute master, but in that kind of art that I never did. I am talking about Gennady Viktorovich Khazanov. When even the phrase "High Estrada" do not want to apply. It is not applicable to Khazanov as well as in relation to Arkady Isaakovich Raykin. This is a miniature master. This is another way of reincarnation when it is also a character. And the first thing I want to say after working with him, this is what I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with the actor who has such a high culture of the word. This is a very great skill.

Why did the heroes in your new picture have such unusual names - Margo, Solomon, Nicole?

Alexei: The action of the film takes place these days in the park of historical attractions. The park is in a fortress, which more than two and a half thousand years. And the story itself is universal, could have been involved with anyone and everywhere. Therefore, we wanted to get away from the national will accept, from receiving time. We even specifically confuse the viewer when, at the beginning of the film, my hero lies in Roman armor, and a Roman with an iPhone is suitable for it. And makes selfie. The story is universal, because the nature of man is "rape" and "non-national". When I called Stanislav Andreevich Lyubhani to invite him to the role of a healer, almost God, I said: "Stanislav Andreyevich, your hero was thirty years ago in the situation of my character, and my hero will become you in the thirty years."

They say Oksana Fandera lost weight for 12 kg. And what did you go for the sake of this project?

Alexei: You have incorrect information. Oksana always looked great and was slight. She lost 18 years, the other I never seen her. And what did I go for? For example, when I began to engage in the release of the film, I had to, starting in February, in my life everything else to suspend. And to my normal existence, I can return only at the end of the second week of rental, after the release, that is, in early November.

In general, what are you ready to go for the roles like?

Alexei: What can I go as an actor? Well, let him come, then we'll see. After all, you lose weight, get fat, shave naked or grow hair, to be with a beard or without - it is more related to work. Because in the expression "What to go" some sacrifice sounds. Go to something as a "victim"? Yes, nothing. But for the sake of interest to the role, I am ready to make almost everything with him.

Are there any taboo? What you never agree to shoot?

Alexei: If I have already agreed to remove, then I do everything. And before that there are things, for example, from the discharge of moral and ethical norms. I refused the role in the recently released movie Kursk. Because I did not want to do "Cranberry" on the material of a big tragedy. Such films can only be done with the participation of Russia. And the side view on someone else's pain, on the tragedy not only for the people of this country, but also for the state, will never be an emotional and artistic truth. I do not want to participate in it, because I know it will be bad. As for the other taboos ... For example, could I play in the film, for example, "nymphomaniac"? Well, not a nymphomanka, of course, and then already nymphoman? If it is Lars von Trier, then I'll go to him, yes. All actors who participated in the project say that Alexey Guskov created an amazing atmosphere, almost homely, on the set. What did it be expressed?

Alexei: They all created this atmosphere to their participation in the project. In this case, I repeat, the last participant of this process. With good preparation for the shooting and inclusion in the team only those people who relate to the film a little better than just to the next project, and they are ready to participate more than they are written in the contract, then it happens.

Lydia, did you not claim the main female role? After all, when the husband is a producer, then, by general, this is a guaranteed main party in the project.

Lydia: In our case, as you see, this is not. My roles, they will find me. Yes, and no needed to this film. I never selected anyone anything. And never asked Lesha, so that he removed me or wrote me, ordered the script - never!

Lydia: Never! Lesha knows my position.

Lydia: We have no advantages, no minuses. There is just a job. No such: this is my husband, this is my wife. We are partners. We even have different trailers, and we can not intersect. We are absolutely two independent units.

The work ends on the set, or do you transfer the discussion of roles and what happened home?

Lydia: At home we do not discuss anything. Played, thanked - and that's it. If there are nuances, we decide to try differently, but immediately. We have no discussion, sitting at home for a cup of tea.

Do you help each other prepare for the role if there is a need?

Lydia: We help in acting tips, honesty, expressing opinions. We listen to each other. And when Lesha begins: "But it seemed to me ...", it is perceived without resentment. And I try, if I understand that he is right. Even if I don't feel right, I also try. After all, often we all make mistakes. You will also have a chance to look at a different angle. I always love to look from the side. There were great actors who loved the second composition, watched their role in the execution of another. A lot of what you see from the side. Why and artist need a director, the actor can play all the way. (Laughs.) And the director needs another, because it sees the volume. He has a kaleidoscope already complicated. And at the same time I am an absolutely unlocked person. Sometimes even colleagues were surprised how I could give the role so calmly. And if I do not see myself in this role, that the role is not mine, I do not want to cling to her teeth. What for? I had a situation in my movie when the director called me and offered to read the script. Read. I liked very much. But Lesha said that this is not my role. He replied: "Fantasy! Lydia: We never had such a thing at all so that I did not like his role, and he was mine. We are very familiar with Lesha - where, what, what and from anyone. When is fatigue, how do you exhale?

Alexei: I am leaving for the cottage. Walking with dog. I spend time with your family.

Lydia: Differently. I love my home very much. I adore, like Lesha, our country. We love to call our friends there. I can, like an ordinary woman, go shopping. Buy gifts to your granddaughter, which I adore. If there is time, then, of course, I go to her. I just rest with her, re-born. There is no such thing: sat down and flew into the warm edges. No time. I wish I could. But it is sometimes impossible to find at least a week in your schedule.

You are constantly together. Fatigue does not arise from each other?

- Not. Anyone is tired of any communication, from everyday rehearsals, etc. But it is necessary to understand: there is misunderstanding, but there is fatigue from each other. We simply do not have it.

Two actors in the family - is it a lot or a little?

Lydia: We have three actors in the family. (Laughs.) We just do not focus on this. Everyone chooses in itself - a woman, religion, the road. And most importantly in our profession, so that there is no envy. As soon as this feeling appears, everything scatters.

You have two sons. One chose the acting, the other is the produce. Have you been against?

Lydia: Not. I understood that I would not discharge, whatever the profession they chose. The main thing is to like it. If a person chose, then there will be a result. Parents must give freedom of choice. And how they will go further - it is only their merit. The eldest son is Volodya - the actor, works in the theater named I. Makovsky. The younger - Dmitry - graduated from producer, and then entered the Higher School of Economics. Receives second higher education.

Do you already have a granddaughter?

Lydia: Yes, Stephania, she and a half years old. This is my happiness, after two boys. We were so happy that a girl appeared in our family. As they say, the first child is the last doll, and the first granddaughter is the first child.

And there is a time to communicate with her as much as you want?

Lydia: Of course not. If possible. I and the daughter-in-law - the actress "Theater of the Moon" - Alexander Guskova. Wonderful, amazing, beautiful. Volodya, son, is removed, and she works. When they are on the set and you need to sit with my granddaughter, come. I enjoy doubly. I help them and spend time with strings. These are wonderful minutes. That's literally. I sit, I look at her and I think: "God, it runs my happiness!" I see how she loves me, how bored, I see how it stretches to me, it strokes when I sleep, kisses me. We have love with her.

Lydia: Well, we already talked about it, we did not help my sons and did not interfere in choosing a profession. I will respect any choice.

Alexey, your attitude to age? This year you turned 60, what is changing in relation to the profession?

Alexei: Nothing changes. I am glad that I have suggestions, and they are interesting. I am glad that I can refuse someone, because I have already done this, something like that has already been playing. Now I have the right to refuse. Of course, refuse worthy and culturally.

Do you smear or really perceive age calmly?

Alexei: No, do not worry. I, honestly, do not even feel the age, or do not understand this. It is necessary to approach the mirror. (Laughs.) Or just meet with peers. Then it is immediately seen that we changed a little.

Your children share the hobby dad - karate?

Lydia: They went with him together for a long time. They really liked it. But then found some other sections. They, of course, did not achieve the success of the Pope. Pope has a black belt, and they seem green. It was long ago that was still in the 90s.

Is the whole family going often for a big table?

Lydia: No, we do not work. Not because we do not want, we just do not work. We even all together on the TV program, if your name, can not come, it is impossible to get together. Everyone, fortunately, has a job. All in demand.

Now everyone is fond of refinery, how are you with this?

Lydia: I smoke, here is my healthy lifestyle. (Laughs.) Maybe this is the echoes of youth when I was engaged in handball, dancing, sports, there is no traction at all. Zozhe for me is a cottage, fresh air, silence, some kind of solitude or, on the contrary, the arrival of friends with whom we rest.

But you are in great shape.

Lydia: Genes. Thanks to my mother with dad. Mom for seventy, but she absolutely does not look at her years. Young, beautiful woman. And I absolutely do not hide my age by changing the sixth ten. Perhaps the fact that I constantly make compliments, and I enjoy the fact that everyone is surprised. Therefore, I do not have this: "Oh, do not ask how long I am!"
