Andrei Zvyagintseva's film Leviathan won the main prize on the 58th London Film Festival, which ended in the British capital. As it turned out, all members of the jury were unanimous: the film of the Russian director is the best that was presented at the festival.

Recall that the painting "Leviafan" (the author's interpretation of the history of the biblical character Job Multi-shake in modern Russia) collected a whole compliance of awards at world film films of various scale and significance. Of course, the most prestigious one is the prize of the Cannes Film Festival. Also in the film "Leviafan" - the Grand Prix of the festival in Munich, the main prize in Serbian Palich and in Haifa in Israel. By the way, all previous works of Zvyagintsev used success and recognition. So, his first film "Return" received two "Golden Lviv" at once at the Venetian International Film Festival. The second film is "Exile" - took a prize for the best male role in Cannes. And Elena - the third job of the director - won a special prize of the "Special Look" program all on the same Cannes Festival.

The victory of the new creation of Zvyagintsev in London makes an increasingly visible and an Oscar premium in the nomination "Best Foreign Film", which is nominated by Leviathan.
