- Elena, what are your relationship with television now?
"Now I dedicated my daughter all my life." Doing the fact that I'm trying to make a high-class tennis player from it. All my time is dedicated to this: in the morning I'm going with Lisa for the first workout, then physical preparation, then school, and in the evening I am visiting her to the court.
- Probably not easy to refuse your favorite job?
- It happened logical. Because the child is like a tree, followed by, watering, fertilize. And the better you do, the weighing will be Crohn. As for my television career, I was lucky with projects: "About it", "Domino Principle". But I understood what's next - a glass ceiling. Child and television are incomparable things. Do one more transmission? Of course, great. But I know what program it will be and what we will talk about. And on another cup of scales - daughter. And now is the time to invest in it. - Tennis can be called your family sport?
- Yes. My mother played tennis. I called the daughter of Elizavetu-Anna, in honor of my coach Anna Vladimirovna Dmitrieva. The daughter now plays on the same courts, on which I once practiced in CSKA. Huge ate grown there. And I remember how we were planted. And when the hooligani, then we were forced to water them. It's so nice when I come to the same courts, I sit on the same benches ...
- If I'm not mistaken, the tennis story in the family began with his grandfather?
- Yes everything is correct. My grandfather is an African American. And in the 20s in the US, you know how it was hard to people with dark skin color. He arrived in the USSR. And I wanted my mother to get what she could not get in America. Do you imagine what a wealthy white American in those years? He had a private music teacher, necessarily Bonna (governess. - Ed.) And a game of tennis. And when grandparents came to the Soviet Union in 1931, the first thing they did is hired Bonnu. It turned out very ridiculous. Grandfather wanted Mom to speak Russian well. And their Bonna was a Ukrainian actress, but the grandfather did not distinguish Russian from the Ukrainian. And mom began to speak Ukrainian. Then, naturally, and in Russian perfectly spoke. Mom graduated from a music school with a gold medal and played very well in tennis (Mom TV presenter, Leia Golden, was born in Tashkent, advocated the national team of Uzbekistan and was champion. - Ed.). My mother did the same with me. In turn, I did the same when my daughter was born. We had a very good nanny. We hired music teacher, and Lisa "tormented" the leopards of piano for a long time, and from five years began to play tennis. The story is repeated.
- Before parents, whose children are engaged in professional sports, it comes to a difficult choice: either studying children or sports. Have you already thought about this?
- Of course, they wondered. There are two options. The first is to become a professional. Each child engaged in sports seeks to win, conquer medals and titles. But also need to understand that this is one chance per million. The second option: if Liza does not work with tennis, then she will go to a good university where it will play for the national team. And all the money that is now embedded in it - and tennis, as you know, one of the most expensive sports, "I want to believe, will take a scholarship. How my husband is joking: on those sums that we spent, Lisa would have paid for education five times at Harvard University.

- How do you manage to combine study and large physical exertion?
- It seems to me that everything depends on the desire of the child. We underestimate the possibilities of children. Anna Vladimirovna Dmitrieva told a wonderful story. As you know, it is the first Russian tennis player, which in the 50s was invited to Wimbledon tournament. It was a huge honor for our country. And then the chemistry teacher said that Dmitrieval tails on her subject. Called the representative of the sports committee: "What is the chemistry? She rides to defend the honor of our country! " What a teacher answered: "While she does not give up, I just don't put it like that. And if he leaves, then I am not certified. " And there was nowhere to go. Anna Vladimirovna learned the entire textbook by heart. During the week. Everyone passed and went. What am I telling it? If the child has motivation, he will hit you with its capabilities.
- Your daughter is now fifteen. There was such age when I want to walk, meet friends ...
- There is no time to walk, and I don't really want. Best friend's daughter - gymnast. She enhances in training for six days a week. And I also want to see a new series. And the daughter loves the series to see, everything knows.
- What about the first love? Recently wrote that Elena Hanggy's daughter is striking fans. Is it really so?
- Who wrote this? Maybe there was a wonderful story about the American groom? I have a very good buddy in America. When I gave birth to a daughter, about the same time he had a son. And he suggested me: "Let's give up our children when they grow up?" I agreed. Periodically, he sent me emails and photos of the Son. And we knew with Liza that in distant America we have the groom. (Laughs.) And about two or three years ago, this friend calls me and says: "It's time to acquaint young people. Children for 12 years, they need to see. " And when we flew in the USA in our tennis matters, they met the buddy and his son. Children looked at each other and realized that they were from two completely different worlds. What can children talk about? About school. Lisa asks this boy, whether he gives to other guys. What he begins to indignant: to write off is not good and dishonest. Then Lisa asks the question: "But how to help a friend?" And they are tied a dispute on this topic. Then they still discussed something and did not find the points of contact. Now, two years later, we went to the USA and again met with this family, because dad does not lose hope to marry children. Went to the restaurant. But the number did not pass.
