Very soon the legendary duo will give a concert in Moscow (tickets can be purchased on Parter.Ru). This was not ten years old! Perhaps there is no man who would not hear this group. The reggae-duet broke into the scene, with ease collected the full halls, their songs were instantly became popular and diverged into quotes. It seemed that the group was experiencing creative takeoff. But the last concert from "Friday" we saw in the distant 2007.
How 5'nizza began
Sergey Babkin and Andrei Zaporozhets first met in 1994 in the Kharkov Lyceum of Arts. In grade 10, Sergey switched to it from another school. General musical interests only contributed to their friendship.
After school, Andrei entered the Medical Institute, and Sergey - at the University Theater Department. Together they often sang for their friends in a student hostel.
In 2002, friends went to KaZantip. Here, their beach speeches attracted the attention of all residents of this republic. And, on the advice of Edika Sumyuko, the leader of the group "W. K.? " Let's go to Moscow. In Moscow, fans appeared immediately - they say that at the third concert club just leaned from the listeners.
The first (truth, published unofficially) the album was recorded for $ 30 at one of the local Kharkov studios. Huge circulation was repaid for some particular days.
The same album, already official, recorded a little later. In addition to the same compositions, several bonus tracks included in it.
Second album
The popularity of the group grew like a snowball. Sergey and Andrei performed not only in Moscow, they were looking forward to them in other cities.
In 2004, the duet recorded the second album, "O5". True, despite the popularity, he did not cause such a big excitement as the previous one.
The guys collected material for the third plate and continued to tour. True, there were not much speeches because of the great employment of Sergei in the Kharkov "Theater 19".
Video
In the St. Petersburg Gulf, the clip was shot on the song "Winter", but he was not published - the guys rejected this work.
Then there was a clip on the hit "Soldier" and the song "Jamaica". In 2004, after the release of a new album, the guys took off the video "New Day".
Third album
During the recording of the third album in 2007, the opinions of the guys about what a record should be, diverged. First, the duet participants wanted to add to each composition one tool to diversify the sound. But when the team gathered and work began, everything was changed. Music experiments led to the guitar that once replaced all the tools, moved to the background. Together with her, the shadows were Sergey Babkin, and this has already contradicted the concept of the group. The proprietary sound, which was recognized by "5'nizza", was gone. And the songs were completely different, not similar to "Friday" - their author was Andrei.
It was not easy for: "5'nizza" will remain in the history of acoustic duet with two albums. And the material to the album was the solo project Andrei Zaporozhets Sunsay. But some guitar losses and back vocals of Sergey in Andrei's album are.
Reunion
So, the paths of the musicians diverged, and each of them did a completely successful solo career. But we still lacked this bottomhole duet. Fans of "5'nizzes" could remember personal stories, romantic or not very related to their joint creativity.
In 2008, the guys played a small unplanned concert in honor of Mikhail Kabanov's birthday, the participant of the group "Orchestra Che". But still "5'nizzes", a beloved of all the musical team, was no longer.
In March 2015, the Group announced its association. Already in April of the same year, a video on the new song "I Believe in You" appeared on the YouTube Channel of the Group. In May, fans heard two more new songs recorded after reunion. And in December 2015, the group "5'nizza" in the Kiev Palace of Sport for the first time performed his new song "Up".
And here is a concert in Moscow! "After 10 years of silence, we decided that we again have something to say, and old songs may acquire a new life and meaning," says Andrey Zaporozhets.
And Sergey Babkin is asking himself a question: "In 10 years, we as two separate elements have visited various experimental compounds. What chemical reaction will happen this time? "
