Sirsha Ronan: "For me, Timothy Shalama is much more than any lover"

Anonim

She is a child of nineties, completely young - but a very very experienced actress is already. Sirsha Ronan to his twenty-five gathered a record number of awards and nominations for the most prestigious cinematic premiums. Among them - a fivefold attempt to take Oscar, the latter - for quite fresh work in the picture "Little women." Whether Ronan will be able to become the owner of the cherished statuette or not, in fact not so and importantly - after all, it is already considered the most successful, talented and multifaceted artists of their time. About the Motherland, Chauvinism and sincere friendship Sirsha talks in our conversation.

"Sirsha, we counted and understood: Your fifth role in cinema - and the first work in the present" big "movie - brought you the first nomination for Oscar. You were then ...

- I was thirteen years old. Until now, I remember our work in the "redemption" of Joe Wright as a beautiful, inspiring, exciting adventure. You know, five weeks of filming swept literally at the moment. It happens when you fall into a pleasant place for you. Like a children's summer camp. Only almost without children. (Laughs.)

- Tell me, what was you, quite another girl, work with mastitis actors?

- I felt as if I was among the good buddies. I remember Keira (Kira Knightley. - approx. Aut.) And James (James McAvoy. - Approx. Aut.) Laughed, said that I was a contender for their fees, supported me and praised. And I studied, constantly. One of the most powerful breakthroughs for me was a special practice with Vanessa Redgrave. We both played one character: I am in childhood, she is in old age. To create a one-piece image recognizable through the year, we often became each other opposite each other and worked with mirrors. Copied facial expressions, gestures, tried to catch the general one, feel our heroine. It looked like a dear dance.

- Very cool for the girl of thirteen years, you know?

- In fact, almost everything I can do, I took from those filming. Director, Joe Wright, taught me a lot. For example, I almost never look at myself in just a footage on the monitors. I'm trying not to look back, trust my acting intuition.

- Judging by how your career is being folded, those lessons were not in vain. But we will be frank, all the advice and recommendations "fell" into fertile soil. And who else helped you on the set?

- Everywhere and everywhere my mother helps me. She is my own soul.

"Judging by the fact that you have kept adequacy, talent, health and burdens, despite the fact that your career started when you were ten years old, your mother has some kind of child's secret. Tell your childhood!

- I was born in the Bronx, in the simplest family. My mom is nanny, and dad actor. Then we moved to Ireland, began to live in a small town of Hough. I was told that we lived poorly. But you know, I did not feel at all, I did not think that we were begging, that we were missing something. And all this thanks to how much my mom. And when my career started, she began to defend me and help. Not as a crazy protector, which does not allow to feel life, fanatically fencing from everything, no. And she never tried to realize his desires through me, do you understand? She was just around, and I knew that I could always hug her that she was always on my side. In general, this is a stunning feeling of the rear. Supports. You just know that your person is with you. Just, but incredible!

- What is the most valuable advice that Mom gave you?

- She taught me respect to people around me. A huge number of adults is spinning around the child on the set. Everyone is worried, try to feed, help, send. And there is always the risk that you will get used to this privileged position. You will think that it will continue. "You are not Queen of Hives, Sirsha!" "Mom repeated all the time." And the truth, I'm not Queen of the hive. (Laughs.)

- How has your life changed with the arrival of glory?

- Often I give an interview with us in the house. So, journalists can make sure that we live everything in the same simple house, no frills. We have many photos, all sorts of cozy tablecloths. Mom bake. Oh, how she is bake! .. So we did not change anything. We have become even closer than before. No, the word "close" is not that. It is not enough. Mom as part of me, you know? She is mine, and I am her. And yet we had a kind of ... Teenage period, when it was time to be separated. Usually, young men are going to college at this moment, they begin an independent life. I began to ride one on the shooting.

- And what picture are you, so to speak, spoke solo for the first time?

"I turned twenty, and I went to work in the picture" Hotel 'Grand Budapest. " And immediately hit the company of super-people - Tilda Suinton, Raif Fayns ... This is the most exciting in new shooting - communication with these talents.

- Which of them are you friends, do you still talk?

- For example, Ryan Gosling. He is just a cut, the sweet guy! I know that we could meet him wherever it happened, it seems he could play my dad in "cute bones." But then he became incredibly popular, and did not work out. Our acquaintance took place just when I was thinking to move from my parents and live separately. And so I called my mother, told her about Ryan, and she thought that I had a romantic attachment.

- And it did not happen?

- Have you seen Ryan Gosling? Of course, he is just super. But no. (Smiles.)

- You're almost nothing about personal life. Is this a conscious position - or, sorry for the directness, nothing to tell? You are all in work, in social activities, in charity.

- Well, I, of course, I had and undivided love, and mutual attachment. But I really try not to advertise my feelings.

- Risk and ask: Tell me, rumors about the novel with Timothy Shalama - is it? ...

- This is a great reason for ours with Timothy jokes. (Smiles.)

For work in the picture

For work in the picture "Little women" actress for the fifth time was nominated for Oscar

- Seriously: Are you shooting together already what is the third? - Once. You have a very similar professional destinies, the path to success. You constantly flashed together in front of the chairs of paparazzi. Timothy very warmly responds about you.

- And we convincingly play love and suffering in front of the chambers. Well, in fact, we are with him very close friends. And really love each other, care, we protect. I understand that in our field everyone wants to marry everyone with everyone, this is one of the pretty features of the actor's environment. And yet no, there is no romance between us. Timothy is important to me as a close, native friend. You see, I started to shoot pretty early, and it was not easy to start my age friends. While my peers acquired connections on a school bench, I traveled. My close friends of early childhood were far away. And Timothy appeared. So he is more than any lover, do you understand?

- Well, well, what about your friendship with Ed Shiran? They say you even created a tattoo for him!

- Again this shiran. (Laughs.) I was filmed in Ej's clip, and on the scenario I had to make my hand inscription on his hand. As a result, he fought a tattoo on my curve layout. He says that this is a special sign.

- Your favorite directors allocate you among all young actors. And also say that you are special ...

- Oh, we are just friends! (Laughs.) In fact, I just do not give myself any vitality in reading characters. The film is the brainchild of the director, and my task is to do what the director of the painting is required. I am very executive, you know. This is the whole secret of my feature. (Smiles.)

- You are not only special - and executive, yes, - actress. I know that you are engaged in public initiatives. Tell about it?

- Everyone knows about my love for your country. Ireland is a wonderful and proud edge, the edge of talented, strong, bold people, and I was very lucky that I was born here. It is ready to talk about it in every interview, however. And I take for every matter that at least somehow help my compatriots. When I became an adult, joined the Society for the prevention of abuse of children. I know how a family can help - and I know how she can destroy. By the way, that is why I was extremely important to star in the "cute bones", although my mother was very worried that I would be a victim of violence. But it was necessary.

- You knew you would get a role in the "cute bones." And what will you say about "little women"? Did you understand that your work will be applied on Oscar? Was it intuition?

- I understood that it would be a stunning experience and a complete immersion. And I adore my "sisters" - on-screen sisters, actresses with which we have such mutual understanding, such confidence and such magic! In a word, I think, intuition and common sense worked. Well, by the way, who will refuse a project in which Meryl Strip is involved!

- By the way! Tell me, permanent comparisons with Meryl strip are flattened to you - or rather angry?

- They are pleasantly surprised me. Who will not surprise this? But I do not think it's about talent or about the abilities. Rather, I praise for the preparedness and loyalty to the directorial view. Although I love to say that I play as God put on the soul, but in fact very seriously come to reading and studying the script. It seems that the best improvisation is a thorough preparation. (Laughs.)

- You always knew what you want to play exactly Joe March? Not another sister, namely her?

"Yes, even a young one, when I read the novel, I smelled this funny and clumsy girl in the soul, which adored to run and compose stories. It was instant love in this image, attraction and one hundred percent hit. With me always so. So fold my friendship, my novels, my career - I believe myself and feel when you need to take a step towards. I remember, we somehow discussed who should show the initiative - a man or a woman. I was a little shocked by these conversations. What is the difference? Do not you go and do if you feel strength, desire, need? I think my spouse I will offer to marry. (Laughs.)

- By the way, about it. You did not think about the family, about children?

- I just went from my home home at the age of twenty, and five years of independent life, I obviously do not yet. While I want to live and create for myself and existing relatives. I am grateful to the time we live in, - the time when you can choose, give birth or not, when and how, with whom. And if I am ready only in twenty years - well, so be!

- Where would you like to live? And where would you like to raise children? New York or Dublin?

- Despite my endless and loyal love, even passion, to his native Ireland (I sincerely consider this country the most beautiful and damn attractive place on Earth), I myself was born in a large apple, and this city, literally the city-state, gave me a very much. I grew up who I am, exactly there. I have two citizenship now, and I like that there are two houses in the world, two places, where I want to return to the same extent. As for the children ... Everything will depend on what I will be at the moment when they appear that it will become with my career. In general, of course, small Irish villages with their pastoral landscapes, the purest air, penetrating the sky, is the perfect environment for kids. I myself liked so much to ride on these fields, dangerously run over the cliffs, collect wild flowers ...

- Your name is quite rare even for Irish adverb. What does it mean?

- Sirsha is freedom.

- Can you call yourself a delicate and freedom-loving person?

- As a true daughter and patriot of their country, I am definitely freedom-loving. But the time fee in me, probably, very little - if I correctly understand the meaning of this word. I can be a tough and uncompromising, but more often in moderation, soft and pleasant in communication. (Smiles.) It's all thanks to parents and childhood friends who have become an example for me.

- Let's talk about dreams. For example, is there any unrealized careers stories?

- I want to try myself in a comedy genre. Working with my adorable Wesz Anderson, I realized that I would have able to plunge into a real comedy. But no one offers anything. But I want to shine and get closer to my favorites, to Kristen Viig or Tine Fay. I hope someone from the director will read it and will call me to the project.

- What are you dreaming about how a woman is not an actress?

- I want to have eyebrows. (Laughs.) If you do not have eyebrows, you have no face. And because I was forced to pass these wonderful daily procedures - drawing, drawing, if you understand what I mean. Now I am in such a harmony and peace of mind that I cannot come up with ambitious and heart aspirations that would capture my mind.

- And finally. They say you believe in ghosts?

- Absolutely. There is no death. There are different, but equally wonderful life. I know it.
