Margarita Simonova was born in 1988 in the Lithuanian city of Visaginas (her father is an atherrog engineer, who moved at 30 years to Lithuania to work at the Ignolin NPP). In four years, parents gave the girl to the school acrobatics, where she had learned to discipline and loads. - Margarita, how did you get an offer to star in the "big" movie?

- I was found through the social network. Written that Valery Todorovsky removes the picture about the big ballet and is looking for an actress for the role of heroine. Of course, I know well with his work, even imagined himself as he looks like. And precisely because of this was confident that all this is a draw. Nevertheless, I asked what role. They answered that home. In this, I never could believe it. But it turned out that all this is true! In October 2014, I arrived at the samples in Vilnius. And then I called for samples to Moscow. Irina Mikhailovna called, the second director, and said that I would not be happy before, because it does not mean anything. But I was approved.

- Have you ever been to the Bolshoi Theater?

- No, I first found myself in the Bolshoi Theater, when I arrived at the shooting of the film. I grew up in Lithuania, and I did not have any connection with Russia and Russian ballet. And immediately before the filming of us with Anea (former ballerina Anna Isaeva, who played in the picture of the rival Heroine Simonova. - Ed.) Invited to a large theater as spectators. We watched the "lady with camellias." Very beautiful performance that we also have in Warsaw next season.

- And after the film you did not offer to perform in the big one?

- No, the ballet world can only charm ballet. And with the movie he is in no way connected. As Valery Petrovich Todorovsky, Valery Petrovich Todorovsky, nobody needs a large theater, just everyone needs a big theater.

- Todorovsky said that the film is not about intrigues, for this there is a "yellow press". But it is clear that intrigues were and there. Have you ever built a goat?

- No, I, for happiness, always worked in very friendly troupes and is still so working. I do not know how in other theaters, maybe sometimes it comes to extremes, but I have never happened to have some tough, unpleasant moments. Competition, of course, is always there. But from my experience, on the contrary, such competition, which is very inspired and motivated. That is, if you really see that someone is better, then you work first above yourself. And you are not trying to jump over someone, because in the ballet in principle, it is impossible to jump over someone. No objectivity. This is not a sport, there are no achievements, results, records. No better and worst in ballet, it's an art, it likes someone in one form, someone in a completely friend.

- Is there friendship in a ballet environment?

- Well, of course. And if you keep in mind the main heroines of the film Yuly and Karina, I would not say that there is no friendship. Just fates developed in different ways. My heroine Julia was in the corpsore, and Karina is a star. Cordage and Prima work in different spaces and do not even intersect.

- Your heroine of Julia sacrificed his dream to become a barrier of the Bolshoi Theater for his mother in the very needs of his mother. Could you do the same?

- When you study, there is nothing more important for you more important than ballet, more important to go to the scene and desire to be the best. But in adulthood, you interpret it differently. In such a situation, like Julia, I, too, probably, would do it, because it is a family. And, in my opinion, it is very good that she put her priorities so much. For her, this step was very complicated, but with her jump from the roof on the roof of Julia, herself proved that she was the best.

- This jump was a very reckless act. And what is the most reckless in his life did you?

- Probably what I left to learn to a ballet school. Although it cannot be called reckless, because in the end he turned out to be correct.

- It was difficult to live in a ballet school away from parents?

- Yes! It's horrible. It was hard, but I even scared to think that at that moment my parents were experiencing. For them it was even more difficult. After all, how to believe in your child and help him to take such a step.

- Will you be ready to let go of your child?

- To push him somewhere - no. In general, for the fact that the child himself solved that he is interested. And if he tells me that he wants to the ballet, I, of course, I will not block his way. But, on the other hand, it probably did not want it.

- Do you have a young man?

- Yes.

- Is he from the world of ballet?

- Not. But he goes to all my performances. He is my fan and very interested.

- Yes, absolute truth.

- Do you let yourself alcohol?

- Of course, sometimes even for medicinal purposes. And champagne including. But before the performance, we will never drink it, because the champagne is really weak. And a sturdy drink helps to relax in the right direction. But this, of course, is not going to get drunk.

- French choreographer Nicolas Le Rish, who played in the film Alert Celebrity Antoine Duvel, with whom Yule would have to dance the premiere, tells her before going to the scene: "Think for whom you dance". And you are dancing for?

- I always dance for my parents. Before everyone, I mentally speak to them "Thank you very much!" And go out. Here I am not lying and there. Always!
