It was intended for lush techniques, conducting theatrical festivities, etc. The estate built on the manner of royal country residences was also addressed by residential and hunting houses, arbors and animals. Even kunstkamera was built in it and created a small flotilla of ships right on the ponds. All the world tried to get here. Sometimes the estate took up to thirty thousand guests. The famous architects and artists were attracted to the estating arrangement. As a result, we can see masterpieces that have survived to this day.

Sheremethev Palace

The main construction in the countryly entertainment estate of Count Peter Borisovich Sheremetyeva in Skuskov. He was also called the "big house". This summer palace is almost completely preserved to the present day. Here you can see the authentic elements of the interiors: real aging floors, furnaces and fireplaces, as well as elements of stucco, wood threads. Even mirrors and lamps - the XVIII century.

Dutch house

Made in the Dutch style of the XVII century. Inside you can find the abundance of precious Dutch and carpet rotterdam tiles. Arbor and garden with a garden around the pavilion were built to create the illusion of the street on the banks of the canal.

Italian house

Served the role of a palace for small techniques. In addition, in his decoration, there was a reflection of interest in collecting rarities, so now this house has become a kind of museum. For example, here you can see rare pictures from beads and color marble.

Grotto

The only pavilion in Russia, who retained his unique "tongue" decoration from the XVIII century. It was created by a German architect who worked on the grotto for ten years. Its interior is decorated including real shells.

Hermitage

Here, at one time, the owners of the residence were resting and the host friends approaching them, who desired to retire during the balls, which arranged Count Sheremetev. In the pavilion there is a second floor, which then it was possible to get only with the help of a mechanical elevator.
