The history of the creation of a trouser costume for women originated in the distant 19th century. American feminist Amelia Bloomer went to unheard of audacity - put on a walk along with a wide-headed hat and the usual jacket and skirt wide pants. The woman protested against the wearing of the lower skirts, whose weight, just imagine, reached 17 kg! True, no one decided to follow her example - then it was considered an indecent woman to show legs, albeit in pants. Almost half a century passed, until finally, did not invent the bike of the modern type, which could only manage the pants. "Women shouted: Hooray! And the caps were thrown into the air, "Griboedov wrote in his famous 19th century comedy. Maybe not in vain? With the invention of the bicycle, women were allowed to wear pants, first of all, for their safety - skirts were wounded on the pedals. The coup in the history of the costume made Coco Chanel - the famous fashionista, favorite to transfer the items of the male wardrobe to female. Oskarine actresses Marlene Dietrich, Catherine Hepburn and many others distinguished love for costumes. Only at the beginning of the last century it was decided to abandon uncomfortable models in favor of health and versatility - in 1926 Coco Chanel introduced a legendary black dress on the podium. In the period of the Great Depression in America, it helped to equalize women, allowing to be stylish as a benchmark and a banker's wife.

At first, in the 16th century, they did not have a heel and were intended for wearing servants - so they could noisely move around the house in order not to disturb the owners.
