Secret Shapoklyak and Mystery Parrot

If you bring together all the heroes of cartoons invented by Leonid Aronovich, it will get a huge multi-storey house with hundreds of tenants. And on each apartment will hang their recognizable signs: for example, "scarlet flower", "Golden Antelope", "Snow Queen", "Uncle Stepa - Militizer", "Mitten", "Shapoklyak", "38 Parrots". And about each household artist Schwarzman is ready to tell the interesting story - for 50 years of work on the "Soyuzmultfilm" they have accumulated a lot. You can read them at the exhibition - there, among the paintings and sketches, the signs are hanging with explanations, why the parrot lost a beautiful parrot tail, as Cheburashka appeared and how the image of the old woman with her name is connected (it turns out, in the XIX century in England it was so called Folding cylinders with spring).

Do not be surprised that in Solyanka, many paintings hang very low - this is done for the main visitors to the exhibition, children. By the way, in the gallery schedule there are special children's hours - the time from 12 to 14 hours each Saturday and Sunday will be entirely devoted to the young guests of exposure. And in the most mysterious part of the exhibition - in the basement - you can see the cartoons on the big screen of a mini-cinema or see the unknown modern children entertainment - Filter, drawn by Schwartzman.

And here's another news: from recently, Japanese children loved the cartoon about Cheburashka. Their pet is called abbreviated - Cebi, but externally, he is an exact copy of our native Cheburashka. The Japanese director Makoto Nakamura, who came to the opening of the exhibition, admitted that I first saw the cartoon about the charming "eared" 10 years ago. And when he was entrusted to make the Japanese version of "Cheburashka", Nakamura tried to become "the shadow of Roman Kachanova" - of the most famous director-multiplier, who shot Russian "Cheburashka". In Japan, the children saw the old and new series "Chebu" in December last year, but a film about how they were shot, show in a cozy corner of the gallery. There are also exhibited Japanese toys, DVDs and posters with hieroglyphs on the sides of the Chebi Cheburashka.

Well, let's open you another secret, last year the artist Schwarzman turned 90 years old. But friends are still affectionately called him Lyouli, like a small one. And right: after all, in fact, he is very young, and he has a kind and clean heart, like a child.
