Researchers were observed for pupils of 3 and 4 classes engaged in football, baseball and softball for 189 games. They tracked the physical activity of players, as well as calorie snacks after the game. The researchers found that the children burned 170 calories per game, but after a 213 calorie died on average. Almost 90 percent of these products contained added sugar, constituting 26.4 grams of sugar on a portion. It is more than the total recommended daily sugar consumption for children - 25 grams. "According to this study, the children on average spent only 27 minutes per game, and in some sports such as softball, even less," says Pediatrician Jay Lovhenheim in an interview with Healthline. "Currently, children are 5 years old and older to engage in physical exercises at least 60 minutes a day," said Lovenheim. Scientists summed up that the modern child is not needed after the game.
