In October last year, the Twin Pix fans waited for joyful news: David Lynch and Mark Frost announced the return of the cult series for television screens. However, a little later, Lynch almost deprived the fans of hope for a continuation, deciding to leave the project due to financial differences with the studio. But recently, in his "Twitter", the director published: "Dear friends, rumors are not what it seems ... Everything happens again! "Twin Pixes" returns. "

And now the new details of the return of "Twin Pizes" have become known. Director David Lynch announced that eighteen new series would be removed, and not nine, as previously assumed. In addition, the famous composer Angelo Badalamerty, who wrote music to the original multi-seater 1990-1991 will again be kicked up.

The new series will not be a remake, but by continuing history. The plot of the third season will unfold in our days - 25 years after the murder of Laura Palmer. The script writer Mark Frost will release the book "The Secret Life Twin Pixes", in which describes what happened in the town during this period.

It is already known that Kyle Maclachlan will again appear as Agent FBI Dale Cooper. The project was also confirmed by Cheryl Lee, who embodied in the series of images of Laura Palmer and her cousin Maddy Ferguson, and Sherlin Fenn, who played Audrey Horn.

Lynch and Frost promised to introduce a lot of new characters in history, but also to the "old men" in the continuation of the place. Ray Wayz (Lyland Palmer) hinted about a possible return to his heroes, Grace Zakriski (Sarah Palmer), Madhan Amik (Shelly Johnson), Peggy Lipton (Roman Jennings), Chris Malki (Hank Jennings), Joan Chen (Josy Pekcard), Catherine Coleson (Lady with Polenom), James Marshall (James Herley), Karel Streichen (Giant), Michael Onkin (Sheriff Harry S. Truman) and a number of other actors.

At the moment, the project is already in the preliminary stage, and shooting should start in September of this year. It is expected that the series will appear on the screens in mid-2016. And the most curious thing is that David Lynch and Mark Frost do not deny the capabilities of the fourth season and further continuing the history of Twin Pix.

Recall, the TV series "Twin Pix" went on screens in the USA on April 8, 1990. The pilot series showed an incredible rating at that time: it was viewed by 33 percent of the population. The first season consisted of eight episodes, the second - from twenty-two. The latter, a total of the thirtieth series, was released on June 10, 1991. In 1992, a full-length prequel "Twin Pixes: Through Fire" was removed. However, the film at the box office failed. In 2007, Time magazine included the series at the "best TV shows of all time."
