Last year, when the Azerbaijani duo "Ell & Nikki" took the first place with a 221 point, it was clear that the trip to the Armenian delegation to Baku. At the end of February 2012, an open letter appeared signed by two dozen most famous musicians in Armenia, in which they called on a boycott contest in the capital of Azerbaijan. And in early March, the country officially refused to participate in Eurovision. The reaction followed only in May, when the European broadcasting union decided to finf by Armenia for the refusal to come to the festival. Despite the lack of Armenian artists in the competition, Armenia will have to make a complete contribution for participation in Eurovision and another 50% of this amount as a fine. In addition, the country can boast of his talents in a musical competition for the next year, Armenia will have to show on television the final of the competition in the live broadcast.

Russia this year performs at Eurovision in the 16th time, debuting in 1994 together with the singer of Masha Katz. During this time, our country also participated in several scandals. The first one happened in 1996, when Andrei Kosinsky's Russian singer did not allow the competition because of a small number of points in the qualifying round. Two years later, a similar story happened. Only this time the right to represent Russia on Eurovision was deprived of Tanya Ovsienko. As a response gesture, there was a failure to show a competition on the air. As a result, Russia was deprived of the right to participate in 1999. The following conflict happened in 2003, when the group "Tatu" went to European music. The Russians did not like that Ireland issued a verdict of the jury, and not the result of the audience voting. However, no one paid attention to Russian perturbations. In 2007, passions were boiled around Verka Serdyuchka and her chorus: or "Lasha Tumbai", or "RUSSIA Goodbye". In Finland, Serdyuchka, the song brought second place, and in Russia - Essential Boycott.

Israel was noticed in several loud scandals. So, in 1978, the Israeli singer Vyhar Cohen defeated the competition in France, which was extremely negatively perceived by Jordan. Even before counting the votes in the Arab state, instead of the performance of Coen, a beautiful bouquet of flowers was broadcast. And when it became clear that the Israelis wins, then the ether was completely interrupted for technical reasons. The next day, Jordan was announced that the musician from Belgian won Jean Valle, actually she took second place. After 20 years, in 1998, another serious scandal broke out in Israel because of the festival. This time the rebellion raised the orthodox Jews, which were shocked that their state on the international musical competition will represent the singer-transsexual of Dana intern. I called everyone Dana ranked first. By the way, the next year, the awards ceremony of the Swedish singer Charlotte Perelley was interrupted. The fact is that Dana, who came to the stage as the winner of the previous competition, was not kept in high studs and collapsed to the floor.

Perhaps the most active scandalist on Eurovision can be called Italy. Although she, of course, as a member of the first contest of 1956, much is allowed. For the first time, Italy expressed discontent in 1981 and has lost all interest for Eurovision for two years. For the second time, the boycott was announced in 1986, and for two years - in the 94th. And in 1997, the country returned to the competition, but then without any explanation went into the shadow for 14 years. All these years, journalists called various reasons for Demarche. The most believable was the version that the country wants to pay more attention to his own festival in San Remo. True, in 2011, Italy returned to Eurovision again. And quite successfully. Italian Rafael Gualazzi took second place at the competition.

In 1968, the scandal broke out in the UK because of Norway's non-painting, which, not having time to calculate all the votes, issued only preliminary results. As wrote in newspapers, the final data was very different from previously declared. Then he won Spain. But no one challenged her crown of the winner. By the way, a similar incident happened to the year before the Britain itself. The presenter announced his native country with the winner, without waiting for the final voting result. But she was not mistaken.

Eurovision 1969 brought fans of the competition a very unusual surprise. Four countries were immediately winners: Spain, Holland, France and the United Kingdom. Since the British who won in the 67th and Spaniards, who won the 68th, have already taken the competition, and the French made it three times - in the 59th, 61st and 63rd, were the first to be called the Dutch. But it did not argue the insult of Finns, the Norwegians, the Swedes and the Portuguese, who, on the next, 1970, flatly refused to sing at the competition. They needed for another 12 months to cool down from an incomprehensible vote leading to such a strange results.

In 1971, the French singer Severin defeated the competition, which performed under the flag of Monaco. However, this small state could not become a full-fledged owner of the competition for the next year, since it did not find any suitable for such an event of the concert hall. Liechtenstein was not lucky even more. The princess was tried twice to apply for participation in the competition - in 1969 and 1976 - and twice received a refusal. The fact is that Liechtenstein until 2008 had no national channel, which is an indispensable condition for registration on Eurovision. But even now, having received your channel, this country does not meet with the Spirit to show their talents on the international scene.
