Boris Grebenshchikov published a post in his microblog in which he explained the current state of affairs in the music industry.

"Dear friends! The aquarium always recorded and released his music. In any historical era. And always - thanks to friends. It was the aquarium, in the seventies of the last century, began, and in the eighties developed "magnetizdat" - the sound analogue of samizdat in Russia. Friends helped half easily sign up at night in the studio. Friends spread full-fledged albums with homemade covers on coils and cassettes. Friends brought us to Canada for the first professional recording session. Friends opened us the doors of the company "Melody". Today we are all inhabitants of the beautiful new world of the Internet, where music can be placed free of charge. But to record it, you need money. When we started to make the first professional records, the sale of the records paid off the cost of sound recording and still remained on champagne. Now sound recording no longer brings money. All our music in the present century was recorded only thanks to the disinterested help of friends. Your help. We decided to appeal to her again. To record and release new songs, we decided to hold a "national fundraising" for the first time. Thanks in advance for your help or just good intentions. Boris Grebenshchikov "(here and then the spelling and punctuation of the author are preserved, - approx. Womanhit), - wrote a musician. The fundraiser was opened on one of the sites, which specializes in support of cultural projects.

Only for the first 12 hours, Boris went to account more than Million rubles, which was extremely surprised by the artist. "Friends! Thanks to you, we have collected more than a million rubles for 12 hours. Thank you!" - wrote a musician. And then for the remaining days came another million. Money transferred 1150 people. At the moment, more than two and a half million are collected. And, apparently, the recording will begin not three and a half months, as planned, but almost next week.
