Ban on hostels in residential premises
If earlier the owner could arrange a mini-hotel in his apartment without the consent of the neighbors and actually receive money, despite the inconvenience delivered by another, then the new law banned it. Now the hostel can only be organized in a non-residential room, which can be a separate building, the first floor of a residential building or the first and floors above it belonging to one owner. The only condition is to equip a separate entrance. So now, seeing the hostel in the next apartment, you can safely call the police. The law enters into force on October 1, 2019.

Runet Isolation Act
Yesterday in the second reading adopted a law, which allows for the prohibition of the use of sites whose domains are registered outside the territory of Russia. This means that everyone's favorite Telegram, any other social networks, news sites and much more can be blocked by the decision of the authorities. Communication operators will incur additional losses due to the need to establish special equipment on network cables for which regular Internet users will be paid.

Law on Bring Fake News
Now the authorities will be able to block sites that distribute fake news. For online editions Measures less radical - they need to remove the news that does not apply. A print media will be a warning. The re-violation is punishable by deprivation of the status of the media. The law is adopted in the first reading, but the authorities declare that it will soon be finalized. Ordinary people are punished for the dissemination of false information by an administrative fine.
