Andrew Garfield: "I got drunk when I got the role"

Anonim

- Andrew, are you ready for the fact that the fans of the previous filmmaking about a spider man with Toby Magwiener in the main role can pounce on you?

- Are they going to? I am ready to fight with everyone who does not like me. Right now! (Justly threatens a fist.) And seriously, if I don't like someone, what can you do here? I can't tell them that they are wrong. Although I consider myself a completely good guy. (Laughs.) I yourself adore Toby Magserier and I think that it is he who is a real spider man. And for me a huge honor to wear a suit that he wore. Figuratively, of course. I hope that I managed to keep the atmosphere created by him and the perception of this superhero.

- How did you react when you were approved for the role?

- frightened. True, I was very afraid to play this superhero. For me, he means a lot, so I really imagine myself what it means for other people. But it was the dream of my life: I wanted to become a spiderman from three years. And after a call with the news about my statement, which I was waiting for 25 years, I was so happy and promoted that I went and got drunk to hell. (Laughs.)

- How justified your expectations from the role, especially in the light of the fact that you dreamed about her?

- When I began to delve into the essence of my character, it turned out that everything was not exactly as I used to see. In childhood, his life seemed to me carefree and terribly interesting, a funny adventure. But at the same time, Peter Parker survived a deep personal tragedy - Lost Father. He was bitten by a radioactive spider, which is generally very scary. In the end, he was a completely ordinary teenager, and then suddenly he needs to save New York.

- And how did you enter this image?

- I remembered my own childhood. I was St. Petersburg Parker all my life. In the sense of school, I was a prisoner Tikhoni, who went on and on which we laughed. I always wanted to give me, but I never did it, because I would not have enough strength.

- But for the role you had to change and train a lot. Now can give delivery?

- No, this is not mine. The training was really very serious, lasted for more than four months, and without them it would be impossible to imagine my hero. But it was terrible! I do not understand the people who are only engaged in this day: they swing, they are burned, they work on their body's relief. I'd rather go the book I read or I will do something else as unprinth. (Laughs.) But on the other hand, it was a very interesting experience. And if I need to train again for some role, I am ready to go through all this hell again.

- And the tricks were difficult to execute?

- No, fun. I really liked it. I once was engaged in gymnastics, and it helped me pretty in some scenes. And, by the way, it was my idea to put my hero on Skate, because in my childhood I adored to drive on the board. Such physical activity, such as a skateboard, snowboard, football, cricket, I love.

- And what superpowers would you like to buy in life?

- I would really like to fly.

- In the film "Social network" your character was the second after Jesse Issenberg's character. Here you albeit the main one, but still the hidden hero. And in life, how do you prefer to behave?

- It depends. Sometimes I want to go to the background, merge with the wall and do not solve anything yourself and not to do. And sometimes the ego declares itself, and then I want to show yourself in all its glory. In general, differently.

- Andrew, and you are not afraid that after the role of a person-spider, it will be tied up this role and it will be difficult to get other roles?

- No I'm not afraid. Since I always wanted to play this hero, I didn't even mind such thoughts to me - refuse to role because of the fear of problems in my future career. In addition, for some reason, it seems to me that in Hollywood, men easier to receive different roles, unlike women. Although it is unfair, because women are much better able to reincarnate. Here Meril Strip, for example. She is my favorite actress. Well, Emma Stone, of course, you understand me? (Laughs.) So everything is in my hands. I will make efforts to develop further as an actor.
