But on Tuesday, a portrait of Putin appeared on John's page in the "Instagram": "Thanks to President Vladimir Putin for the fact that I called me today and talked to me by phone. I will wait for our meeting face to face to discuss the problem of equality of representatives of the LGBT community. " On the same day, Sir Elton's spouse, David Fernish, with whom he officially registered the marriage in December last year, interpreted the publication of the musician. "Let's build bridges, not the walls," wrote David.

However, the Kremlin denied the message about the call of Putin John. But the spokesman for President Dmitry Peskov said that the head of the Russian state was always open to the dialogue, and did not exclude that Vladimir Vladimirovich's conversation with Sir Elton could still take place.
Apparently, Elton John became a victim of a cruel draw: a person called the musician and gave himself to Vladimir Putin. Or there was no call at all: someone hacked a pop star account in "Instagram" and posted a portrait of the President of the Russian Federation there.
Elton John still abstained from comments.
