- Alexander, your parents journalists. They wanted you to become an actor, or is this your desire?
- Rather my own desire. From twelve years I played in a children's theater studio, and in front of my peers. We put different fairy tales, including the "Bremen Musicians," where I had a role of donkey. (Smiles.) And from now, I made sure that my future was predetermined, and then everything developed somehow - studying the acting skills in the Higher School of Theatrical Art named after Ernst Bush, debut in the tape "And the tourists came," For which I immediately received a reward at the Munich Film Festival ... I thought sometimes sometimes: maybe something will change, but, as you can see, nothing has changed. Moreover, when it was a completely child, Mom told that I did not agree to go to castings and didn't even imagine what acting is a profession, and not just a pleasant pastime. And, you know, I have never sought to become a famous, I always give me the pleasure of the work itself, the choice of exciting plots. Especially since I am only thirty-one, and at this age I still can not be a megazvera. I was already lucky that projects are offered outside of my country. Yes, by the way, I am very painful perceive criticism, I can even cry, if someone does not like, for example, what I do. (Smiles.)
- In one of his interviews, you said that you prefer to be filmed in comedies, detectives, criminal films ...
- Well, I would not say that it's right to play in detective stories, it's not quite so. It rather attracts the diverseness of genres and roles including. Each of us is torn by a lot of contradictions, we are all complex, ambiguous, sometimes we make actions that do not expect from ourselves, and there is nothing more interesting to play such characters. And, of course, I always feel responsible for my hero. It has long been noticed that there is a connection between the actor's own life and his profession. If I, let's say, I am afraid of life or I am not at all curious, then it will be very difficult to play. But at the same time I never sought to play someone specifically. I do not have such a feature at all in the character of something very much to wait for or something to dream. When you get the word in a good way for the flow and take everything that fate provides you - you get an order more.
- In Russia, European cinema is considered intellectual, and Hollywood products are rather calculated hits. What type of cinema is closer to you?
- I like it both. I am pleased to watch both dramatic paintings with Javier Bardem and entertainment American tapes. I am a big fan of lyrical comedies like "Notting Hill". It all depends on the situation and mood. At some point pulls to gather a company with friends and laugh from the soul, and sometimes I want to reflect on some serious thing alone.

- All admire Tarantino as a director, and what kind of man is in everyday communication, is it easy for contact with others?
- With him on the site there is fun and easy, but if something goes wrong, he takes everything too close to the heart, whether difficulty in the installation or an incorrect visual assessment. And to communicate with Tarantino - one pleasure. He is an incredibly educated person, owns tuning information, it may be fascinating to tell both about the Hollywood Cinema of the 1930s and the Russian cinema of that era. And most of all it annoys when a person saves himself and does not laid out one hundred percent. Probably, this is the only thing that can really withdraw him.
- Now you evaluate competitive work, and when let's start shooting yourself?
- While I have two projects in the development, which I cannot spread about. And in the fall in Germany there are two films with my participation - "The river, which was man" and "on the shores of hope".
- And in the theater are you involved?
- Theater always played a colossal role in my life, but today he is in the past, as it is extremely difficult to combine it from the movie. The theater demands from the actors of huge dedication, and on the stage, definitely, the actor reveals quite differently than on the screen. Therefore, if I get some large-scale role, I, undoubtedly, I agree to participate in the formulation.
- Odessa girls are crazy about you. What do you think about Slavic beauty?
- No one is secret that Slavic girls are very beautiful. This also applies to Russians and Ukrainian. And personally attracts me to girls with a sense of humor, with a strong character, independent, firmly standing on the legs that are configured. And my Girl Peri has all these advantages.
- About the Germans they speak as punctual, economical, business people who are accustomed to clearly regulate and plan their lives for years ahead. Does it all have to do with you?
- You should not focus on such clichés. They are akin to the fact that the French allegedly do not want to speak English. This is all nonsense. I almost never come in time and definitely not possess the qualities that you listed. I'm scary emotional man who adores travel, and at first glance it seems to be not at all corresponding to the generally accepted concepts about the Germans.
