True, let's honestly, under one hundred, because someone did not come, someone was frightened and sat in the country. My friend, the artist Lesha Merinov said that before the first of September there would be no time to leave anywhere. But I understand, everyone in his own way tries to protect himself, his family from this virus.

- Do you believe in all this?

- How to tell you, I had a lot of friends. In any case, they made this diagnosis. And they really felt really badly. Someone easier, someone heavier tolere. Of course, the virus is. Another thing, we do not follow the statistics of other years, so it is incomprehensible - someone says that in the past years a lot of people died, others that died more. There are a lot of opinions on this. But without concerts it was hard. Not only from the point of view of material, but also emotionally. Do not play concerts for me is very difficult.

- But some musicians came out of the situation, arranging Internet concerts, someone had written songs, what was yours?

- I wrote music at home all this time. Someone the guitar and lifting harmonic in the songs recorded. It is a pity that the project was slowed down, which I am writing at Garika Sukachev at the studio, we did not meet the musicians during a rigid quarantine. It was hard, of course, sit at home. But my wife and I watched movies. Read. Normal. (Laughs.) And by the way, there were also two online concerts. One with Garick, the other with Crossroadz within the Archangel Blues Festival. We gathered in one place, in the musical hangar of our friend, they filmed there, and it was all in the Internet. But two concerts for 3 months are catastrophically a little. There was one more with Garick - Drive Live in Yahroma, where people came on cars. Stood in parking places. Reacted by the headlights and stood on their closers, because the cars were far from the scene. Then there was a similar concert in Luzhniki, for this time Live & Drive. We opened a concert "Time Machines". There was also a big blues bike festival in Suzdal. Now Slowly something began to happen in small clubs.

- And with you, by the way, are the tastes like?

- Yes. Even in music, art and cinema intersect.

- Is she a creative person?

- Yes, she writes beautiful paintings.

- Admit, personally you live with a creative person easier or more difficult?

- It's easier, because many things are so understandable. A priori. That is, we speak the same language. And this is very important.

- Spouse just like you, loves traveling?

- If not more. (Laughs.) Loves very much.

- Did you write something in connection with the wedding? And in general, write song-dedication to some events, holidays?

- No, rather, it comes from me when I sit down, I take, as usual, the guitar or start to play on the keys. From this, as a result, something is evaporated. I had a bunch of "DOOLANKS" over the years. From some something was born, and something likes something. Somewhere text is missing, somewhere arrangements. It would be more correct: you do one song, you bring to the end, and then you are at the other. But I can't do it, because while I do one, it comes to my new guitar reef, which should urgently write. - And how many dedications were in your life?

- I, unfortunately, it turns out that when someone leaves this world, some kind of music is born. And since I already have a lot of people left ... Although, I remember, Lesha Merinov wrote something at the bottom of his birth.

- Have you already thought about a wedding trip with nickname?

- We wanted to go to Spain. But it is still closed. In August, we have three concerts - one with Garick and two with Crossroadz, there will be breaks for ten days. I hope to fly somewhere.

- How is your adult son Peter treated to the wedding?

- Well. The fact is that Petya knows someone from Nikina Friends: there, in particular, there was one skateist, brother of the best Nikina girlfriend, and my son is the authority among these guys. He shoots a video about skaters, mounts, puts the music that he himself writes. Therefore, it is respected in these circles. And he felt perfectly perfectly. - Basically, everything suits me, because it is his choice. I can't make decisions for him. It seems to me that I am a democratic parent, nevertheless I want it inside that he was more than his best. "I worked with many well-known musicians, but at some point, in 1987, we united with Kolya Harutyunov, and was recreated by the" League Blues ", gathered musicians, but they lasted only a year and a half. Then we had a struggle of intelligence with him (laughs), and I stayed alone. I have already been written for this point for this moment. Shortly before my parting with League, in New York, the drummer Steve Jordan introduced me to Kit Richards. When I returned, I had four songs, including Diamand Rain. And the first one I called was the bass guitarist Andrei Butuzov. Unfortunately, five years ago a friend who passed away from us. 25 years we played in one composition, unchanged. We had session: keytokeniki, harmonic, back vocalist. So, in the 90th year, we got acquainted with Andrey, before that, he played in the Alexander Nevsky group, and we intersect with him at various festivals. He listened to the record, said that he was close and he would gladly play. Then they listened to drummers based on the "Brigade C". We have not yet had. Chose Sasha Toropkin. Then I thought that I was more interested in playing two guitars, I called Misha Savkin, we were familiar with him since 1979. And began to rehearse. The first micro-concert occurred for its rehearsal base in the assembly hall. And the first official concert was held on April 30 - May 1, 1990, when we played the heating of the "SV" group. - How are you going to celebrate the date?

- I had such a gust. But I thought it would be somehow wrong. This is my brainchild. Then Sasha Toropkin left us a year after the death of Andrei. He could not play without him. We had different session bass guitarists. Now more or less permanent - Zhenya Glukhov. But he can not always, because he plays in the Backstage Band group.

- Team musicians take part in writing songs, or is it solely your prerogative?

- Writing, mostly mine, plus, we always played "Case". But I would not say that this is a real pack version, because we have never shot a penny to a penny, we always did it in your own way. As for our things, I brought a fish, and each added something to something.

- You mentioned Guitarist Rolling Stones China Richards, but not everyone knows the story when he gave you one of his valuable guitars, how did it happen? Your first feeling? After all, not every familiar musician he crossed his tools.

- ha ha ha! This happened in New York. I wanted to buy a guitar. I had some kind of money at an inexpensive Fender Stratocaster. Perhaps used. And not necessarily old old. Older until 65 was much more expensive. That year, CBS bought his factory from Leo Fander and began to produce mass products. The quality fell a bit. It was necessary to listen to, watching what guitar, and before the 65th it was not necessary to look neither to listen, all the guitars were unique handmade. And how brilliantly sounds their tree. In general, I was going to buy a simple guitar, even possibly Japanese. They were very good at one time. And I told Steve Jordan about this (Steve Jordan, a legendary session drummer and a producer, his drums sound on the disks Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, George Benson, Tom Jones, Aretha Franklin and many others, - approx. Aut.), With which I am Meet the day after arrival. I flew there with a group of Stas Namina, as a new guitarist could not go to America. After all, we traveled from Moskoncert, and there it was necessary to work in the group for some months so that you began to release abroad. Therefore, Stas called me. So, I scored Steve in the morning, he went nuts, offered to meet. With him made friends in the 86th year, when Stas played at the Festival in Tokyo, who did Peter Gebryel together with Little Stephen, who had Steve Jordan then the drummer. We met with him, went to shoot a video "New York musicians against AIDS", where he was busy. I told him that I need a guitar, he offered his discount. Then we were driving in the car, and he told you who had worked with lately. And most importantly, what is now recorded with Kit Richards. I remember, I was all cooled inside. I neatly asked, and whether it was impossible to see five minutes, how do you do it on the studio? Maybe to shake the hand to this person, because for me it was very important. And he says to me that we are just going to him now. (Laughs.) And arrived. It was a lunch in a family circle. They saw, drank, I had a bottle of vodka russian. At dinner was his wife, two little daughters, a dog, a cat. He showed his room, where there were a lot of books and plates that stacks stood from the floor to the shoulders. In the end, we were in the evening at the studio. It was a night shift. They recorded all the tools, and Richards wrote vocals. Steve Jordan produced. And I spent this night with them. In pauses, we talked a lot with Richards, joked. I told him about Russia. We even played some kind of blues on the gitars on the acoustic. In general, everything was mentally.

- What is Stas Namin? You did not tell him about my visit to Rolling?

- And it turned out: when we flew to New York, then everyone went to interest: Stas Namin went to friends, someone to former musicians who previously played in the group of Stas Namina, who have already lived in America. And then there were no mobile then. I climbed Stas, but no one came up on this phone. It turned out later that I had a New York Phone, and they left for New Jersey. There were hanging out. And we met him only before the Peace and Love concert in the Central Park. And this was the day before the departure. After him, we had a luxurious banquet, which was held near Waldorf-Astoria penthouse. Stas asked me why I was not at a party that was satisfied with one musician? I replied that I met a guy, and that he would probably be very interested to know his name. His name is Keith Richards. Namin Obomlov: "What? How? Why did not you tell me?" "I called the phone that you gave me, but there is silence." - "So what?" "I went to the studio, he has a change now." - "Let's go now!" Stas took the camcorder. From there I still have a photo: Stas, Steve, Kit and I. And the plastic fork is stuck in my hat, and I said everyone: "Fork You", they were delighted. I understood that Steve was all the time busy, I was not to buy guitar, and tomorrow Sunday and I fly away. I thought that I had a guitar, there is no it, not so important. But I met by Kit Richards himself. For me it was unreal. You can dream about something. And it was even impossible to dream about it. Because it was unreal. You can't get acquainted with whale. It is simply impossible. You flew from Moscow for five days. How? In general, I spent three nights at the studio with myself, and this is such a buzz. I looked like people work: musicians, sound engineer, producer. The atmosphere itself felt what was happening. It was for me so important at the moment when I was going to do my own group.

And suddenly Richards tells me: "Let's go!" He brings me to the sofa, and there is a soft case, obviously a non-empty. He: "SHECK IT OUT!" I began to unbutton the zipper of the cover, and the head of the griffe appeared. And the neck spoke about the fact that this is a very old guitar. I then studied the Fander's story, I even had some books, the Americans friends sent printouts on it. I was with my head in this topic. And I got the guitar. She looked very good for 1959. Then it turned out that she was repainted, changed Lada. And Richards says: "IT's a Fifty Nine Strat." And laughed. He laughed all the time. Merry man. Really very good. A real man who is not curly, does not fight, he does not have it. He is just like it is, good-natured and cheerful. And necessarily smiles when he sees what made man pleasant. I patted my shoulder and says: "Next time you come, I will give you a commiss." In short, this was the story. I flew the next day with this guitar, not parting with her the whole flight. And I had a rift made by the famous musician Tom Scholz, it was hanging on the belt, on the one hand the guitar plug, and on the other hand headphones. There was a bunch of different guitar effects. Many guitarists used her even at concerts, including me, until I lost it. Of course, I broke away from the guitar to drink, but the rest of the time did not let her out of her hands. I was sitting in the headphones and played, could not break away. This guitar for some time I had the only normal, combat girlfriend or friend, I do not know. There was also a giderah stratocaster company Musima. At which the paint was written by Fender Stratocaster. Then I have already become buying other guitars. Although I then had an acoustic fender.

- Do you have a guitar so far?

- Yes of course.

- And you play on it?

- No, on the stratum I am rarely playing. When I switched to Telecaster, I realized that it was more mine than Stratocaster. There are characteristic features of both guitars.

- You then met with whale then?

- I met him then five times. In the 89th year, when he again flew to New York: there was a birthday of his daughter Alex, it happened in Connecticut. They shot a big house with a garden. In New York, I eventually stayed for three months, although I flew to one. There was an open date, I put it all the time, I didn't want to fly away. Moreover, Rolling Stones Steel Wheels started, I was at rehearsals with them, and then visited the first concert. It was a stunning moment. Then I was on all their tours, in the dressings and so on. (Laughs.)

- But you yourself performed at the American concert Blues Brothers Band ...

- It was the discovery of House of Blues in Chicago in the 96th year. Artem Troitsky agreed with Aizek Taigrette, a man who first opened the Hard Rock Cafe network, and then House of Blues. He is also known to build ashram for Sai Baba in India. Many hospitals opened. Such a dude is correct. Yes, it turned out that I played with Blues Brothers Band at the opening, which lasted two days. This is also an incredible adventure.

- Tell me, still there is a distinction between our musicians and overseas?

- Differences, mainly go due to cultural features. I mean both musicals including. I was sitting on blues since 1977. And for me, these people with whom I played were close in perfume and relative to music. And in Moscow there were few people who played music based on blues. They were almost not. Therefore, the musical training is different. I mean not technical, who is playing, and that people had in their heads on arrangements, by harmony and so on. I was always informed by the abundance of harmonies in the works. I then resigned to the fact that it, too, maybe not bad. And then I was extremal. Slastoughness did not perceive at all. Therefore, always loved Rolling Stones, not Beatles. In this sense, I was easier there. But then there also began a blues boom in late × 90s. There were many guitarists, harmonicians.

- So you have found your own note for a long time?

- Rather, your notes. I have my own manner. I hear it. (Laughs.) I know. And not only I think it seems to me.

- By the way, my first tour was with Garick. I haven't had a group yet, it was the very beginning of the 90th year. We went to Murmansk. I played the first branch, plus my four songs that were ready for that time, with the musicians "Brigade C". And played thirty-five minutes, and then "Brigade C" came out. It was before I collected a group. And what's more difficult? With Richards, I did not play the guitar, I patted on the entries in your hands, and that's it. This Steve Jordan suggested. There was no strain, it was not necessary to invent any parties, just clapped in your hands. Steve showed that it was to clap which rhythmic party - and that's it. As for the studio work, it is impossible to compare here. No, although you can. (Laughs.) When I wrote a solka in 2008 in England, Anglo-American session musicians worked with me. There were no problems there. The thing was rehearsed once and immediately wrote alive with the whole group. They are positively configured, always support you when you doubt something. Very good were relationship during recording. Although we, of course, were tired of each other. But then we went out to the pub, drinking beer together.

And with our no problems, in general. When you know people personally, I have no misunderstanding with them. If I do not know someone, through one or two handshakes, there may be difficulties there, because you do not always feel a person. And when you know people, and they say that they want from you, everything is ok. Just need to listen to people.

- How is your usual day?

- Always very different. I can get up early, at nine hours, and feed our little dog. She comes and speaks about it. And when the evening was long, then you can sleep late. Then breakfast is not breakfast, coffee and music.

- Do you still have hobbies, in addition to music?

- Well, how can I tell you, I love to watch movies, it usually happens in the evenings when there are no rehearsals. And your beloved wife is undoubtedly.

- You still recently started taking pictures that today with this hobby?

- I had a powerful period, was fond of. It used to paint, now it is almost not doing this, there is not enough time - it is necessary to abstract from everything. And the time now was a fussy, because the organization of the wedding is a serious process: friend calls, procurement, compiling lists. Now you can already quietly do music. And we continue to write our project with Garick, let's call it "tribute to Russian rock": these are hits "Time Machine", BG, Alice, Leschi Romanov, etc. There are also the authors themselves, and invited musicians. - You know so much each other, you still need rehearsals?

- We are friends since 1987. These are some kind of related relationships. (Laughs.) But we rehearse, but what about? If we used to regularly leave, several times a month in different cities, then there was a naked. And when such a long pause, you need to play again. This is an important thing.

- Do you have a slogan in life?

- The slogan was definitely not, but the idea that you should remain myself and do what you can, know how and want to give pleasure and you, and others - it is probably the main thing! In general, I never knew where I was coming, but I was always sure that I was on the right track!
