"Maxim, why did you decide to try myself in a movie and in this film?"
- Many artists of the pop genre want to try themselves in something new and often, choosing between theater and cinema, prefer the first. I was always attracted by cinema. It cannot be said that "everyone can kings" - my first experience. A few years ago, I starred in the episode in the film Stanislav Govorukhin "Bless a woman", where my partner was Inna Churikova, then - in the painting "For two hares." But it was in this series that I have the first major role. Of course, when you are known to every viewer in another sphere (humorist, singer, TV presenter) and are firmly associated with certain images, it is difficult to join the element of the film. That is why I always dreamed of my first steps in cinema start with a costumed painting. I wanted to snatch myself from modernity and move to another historical era, but at the same time that there was a comedy in the genre. Of course, I would gladly tried myself in a tragic, dramatic role, but I understand perfectly well that you need to start not from that.
Maxim first plays a major role in the series, however, work on the set has become a large continuation of what he does on stage
- Are you resorting to someone's advice when working on a role?
- I approached the preparation thoroughly. And, of course, met and communicated several times with a professional teacher, director Alexander Nazarov. Also listened to the tips from the masters and took note. But I do not have the feeling that I, removing in "everyone can kings," rushed into the element, accommodated unknown. Rather, I went to the other side, but on the like road. In my opinion, the acting profession is not divided into genres. And here I am not talking about yourself, but in general. It seems to me, either there is an actor or it is not. All I do on stage, one way or another is connected with reincarnation. Of course, in the shooting process there are some technological things that I only comprehend, and here I need the advice of the director. But in the majority - it's still an acting work.

- To work on the role you had to change even the image. How did you feel with long hair?
- Beard and hair, refilled in the tail, strongly helped create a hard image. The second character, Misha, - Curly, smoothly shaved. Moreover, his image is also different from me. I just like it in this film that both characters are not me.

- What was the most difficult for you on this project?
- There was one such episode ... According to the script, I had to throw a cat. The living cat had to take for a shaking and a slight movement of his hand to throw somewhere in a lobby, on the garbage. My duke does not like cats very much. Of course, I am not afraid that the cat can scratch me or bite, but I feel so sorry for the animal! As a result, I was placed on the assistants who caught a cat in a trash bag. The cat was a movie veteran, starred in thirty films, name is Kuzya. Fortunately, together we successfully passed this test ...
