Ham Abass: "I have to always control everything"

Anonim

Her name, unfortunately, has never been known to a wide viewer. But, fortunately for Chiam Abass, this situation changes in front of her eyes. Charismatic, strong, bright, she is the whole essence of contradiction. Israel's native, brought up in a traditional Muslim family, the one in which the Arab blood flows, the fan of the Palestinian theater, the star of European cinema, lives in Paris, not forgetting its roots. At its account more than sixty roles (including in the series "Heirs"), many scenarios and three full-length films. On the rules of life and the principles of Abass - in our material.

1. About me

It was always difficult for me to realize who I am. Reflections on their own personality were a problem for me, especially when I was a teenager. There are many questions in my head. Who am I? Who am I belonging? Why am I here? And then as if insight happened, and I decided that the belonging was not identified simultaneously, this is a difficult life process, the whole path. And therefore I decided that I would belong to myself and the whole world, and not some kind of nationality or religion.

Simple things do not interest me at all.

I love to risk. I specifically create dangerous situations to see how I can fine with them.

I really want to do everything in my own way. I am a real controller, it is important for me to constantly keep your hand on the pulse and fully responsible for the result. And here I am uncompromising.

Some directors call me overlooking. Yes, it's about me. It is difficult for me to get away from my position, to move away from my views, change my opinion. Perhaps I miss flexibility, but I prefer to assume that I'm just a person with an internal rod.

2. About work

I just can't play cliché, banal, flat roles. It should be a real character, created, prescribed by a man who knows how to live and feel. The character can be conditionally bad or good, maybe someone we hate. And then I wonder then I begin to search for the reasons why he is so.

My professional credo is to love the so-called "heavy" films. This is my nature.

I do not devalue comedy genres, I do not consider them primitive. Laughter is a great way to release steam, get rid of that tremendous pressure, which you are experiencing daily, watching the real suffering of people. So comedy in some way can be considered a cure for the soul.

All my creativity, all that I do as an actress, screenwriter or director, must be closely related to those who I am. Otherwise, I can't work. It would seem that acting is considered art of pretending, but I do not know how to pretend.

Real films should help a person see his way, his roots, his origins.

3. About the family

The source of my wisdom as wives and mothers have become ... Family dramas! It was their viewing that helped me to become patient, calmer, to realize that everything that happens around is normal, this is life.

The main secret in any human relationship, but especially in love, is sincerity, first of all in relation to themselves. If what you do is truly true, you will be happy and together, and, most importantly, alone.

I always understood that I could be a family man only in one case - if my spouse would fully share my views on life and creativity. I am not ready for compromise and glad that Zinen is as irreconcilable.

I was married twice, diluted twice with ease, which could surprise the Muslim community - and that sin to hone, surprised him. But we live in the twenty-first century, and I will not endure the misfortune for the sake of the ghost of the joyful future, which, most likely, never comes.

4. About war and religion

I grew, acutely realizing what distance is what exile is, and all this was caused by war.

Respecting all the religions of the world, I can not not see how some of the spiritual leaders use faith for their own gain. Apparently, because I am far from belonging to a particular church.

War is tragedy, and we pay too high prices to learn something. And how is it bitter that some of these lessons of the story "skip"!

A person who knows what the explosions are, will be different from the one who grew up in relatively peacetime and in a peaceful place. This seal changes the look, changes the worldview, but also gives a lot. We appreciate life!
