- I lead a big film studio, and there are so many projects in need of my participation. - You started shooting "goalkeeper of the Galaxy" five years ago. Why did the picture come out only now?

- In the finished form, the film was glanced just a year, we had to go out in the past October. We have collected all possible financial and social cataclysms of the last six years, which does not facilitate production. And the "galaxy goalkeeper" is an unprecedentedly complex project. I can't compare this work with anything that I had to do before. I do not know a single person in our country, not a single organization who could make such a movie at the same level for a shorter period. If the film's budget was ten times more, we would create it ten times faster. Foreigners are surprised when they hear that three hundred or four hundred people worked on a project with computer graphics, because they have such volumes perform several thousand.

- Yes, but I know him so long ago that I have a feeling that we have already worked. I always wanted to shoot him, but there was no reason. You meet with them, a short handshake, then - the spark, and you immerse yourself in the inner world of this person, and every time it opens to you from the new side, and you again and again fall under his hypnotic magic. Zhenya is a cute, peaceful, outdoor man, but when you start to rehearse with him, such depths are open, just endless universes. And, of course, I am amas with his fantastic performance, the ability to concentrate and very tough discipline towards yourself. He in life is a soft, very wounded, a thrill man, but in the work - just a milling machine. With all this, he retained a child in himself. - You somehow said that the director is a dictatorial profession. Previously, you have never felt on your site. You did not become tougher with age?

- When I shot my first cinema with friends, I called me behind the scenes: "Soft Tiran." I did not scream, because I did not pay anyone to anyone, everyone worked on conviction, but demanded from all in full. At the same time, everyone who knows me well, know that I am walking on people who say: "A-A, twenty years ago he was different." - Did you understand what the audience is this movie?

- I shot a family cinema, because I am very long at that time, when it was possible with my parents and friends to go to the cinema, then there was a picture of the picture, and on the way to eat ice cream or cake. We in Tashkent in the cinemas were not sold popcorn, and salty almonds wrapped in a leaflet in a cell from the schoolbook. There were pieces of eight or ten grains. - Would you feel that you felt the winner after the release of the picture?

- I really like one memoil of Charlie Chaplin. He worked, worked and once received an urgent telegram with a message that his mother was ill. And the producer told him: "Drive". Chaplin sat on the train. In the morning I woke up, reached and thought: "How good! Nowhere should not go. " At this time, the train drove to some kind of a platform. - How important do you care about the opinion of critics?

- By and large, professional criticism for me ceased to make importance, because the opinion of those who cannot help attract people into a cinema is not interested in me. I myself intelligently (laughs), I can analyze everything, and I do not need to wait for the recycling. But help people do not come to the cinema, unfortunately, critics can. I worry how the viewer will be perceived. Normal artist is worried about each performance. - You see in your little children, in the older daughter of Sona and young actors, what have they changed compared to yours and the next generation?

- It seems to me that nothing has changed. They also love cartoons and sweet, also love to play, they always lack attention, no matter how much you gave it. By and large, children always and everywhere children. And youth is youth. Naturally, the entourage changes, the surrounding world changes, some values. For example, in Vgika struck me when my students said that some young professionals or students from other courses want money for work in a student film. This student was impossible. And I was indignant at first, I thought it was a disgrace, and then I realized that my life had changed, they need to remove housing, which costs money. This before we could live with friends, in the basement, no one expelled you, you could always find a shelter and a piece of bread, you would never die with hunger.

- And in your life there were heavy periods in the material plan?

- Full. I all survived everything in this life, including hunger. In the student years, Mom was seriously sick. She lay in the hospital, we have almost no livelihood, although I worked as a guard, and my mother helped. I studied in Vgika, on the VDNH, the day ran into a vegetable store, I bought foods, I prepared the night in the evening, because she needed a diet, I squeezed the juices at night, in the morning until my studies took to the hospital to Frunzenskaya, to the hospital on the person. So it lasted for more than six months, mom had a hardest operation. He also worked as a janitor, and even a grave. It was the most elite work at that time. And, by the way, the highest paid out of all I ever did. And I consider it the most philosophical, because the work in general is mechanical, the head is free, and since you are dealing with the barnness, then the willy-noilies begin to reflect on it. I was young, I wanted to know different poles of life.

- How do you experience self-insulation in your permanent cycle activity?

- It was some unimaginable experience that has never happened earlier in my life. Since I switched to the eighth class, I never spent so much time at home. I will say honestly and frankly, opened a new world. I did not know how my house lives when I'm not, but not all the time me. I did not know how my children dine, did not know how they talk to each other, piss, poke ... I was like Alice in Wonderland, because I looked at all this with an incredible surprise, delight, curiosity, sometimes with irritation, Because I do not have immunity. I sometimes did not know how to react to what to close the eyes, for which there is no. I'm afraid to utter it out loud, but I am happy to survive such a period again, because it is an amazing ripple of life, which I for some reason was deprived. More precisely, I know why. My grandmother once in his youth told me: "A real man must work a lot." And, probably, being from the birth of the pathological lazy, I was monstrously fought in myself with this quality in order to turn into an absolute workaholic.

- I went to the store, bought food. I am a little fatalist. And doctors and scientists themselves do not fully understand everything and therefore, just in case, forced us to adhere to all sorts of measures. But it is obvious that it all depends on the internal resources of the body. Therefore, I quietly went to the market, to the store. And all the time on the same market and in one store I repose the sellers, because I see the same people: "Tell me, someone from you fell ill? Of course, they are all in masks, but at some point they will definitely shrink it from the nose, breathe, because all day is very hard in it.

- Fatalist in the family only you?

- Mom I have in the risk group, so they are sitting at home and do not get off anywhere. And with my wife (actress Svetlana Ivanova - approx. Aut.) Little children and a dog, so all the time you need to buy something, do. We could not feel completely isolated and quite loosely lived.

- And how Svetlana transferred the lack of work, with all the love for the family she is also a workaholic?

- Yes, she is definitely a workaholic. And in a different way, probably, it is impossible in our profession. But it seems to me that the main emotion was pleasure. It is like in the post any deprivation makes more joyful talking and entry into ordinary rhythm. Therefore, as soon as Quarantine ended and they began rehearsals in the theater and shooting, she gladly rushed into this outer. But, coming from a business trip, she always says: "Lord, how good at home!".

- You said that from the eighth grade I never sat so much at home. And before this age you were a quiet, home child?

- No, and the first time I went to shoot when I was nine years old, and up to fourteen starred in a rather large number of films. So this year I have fifty years creative biography. (Laughs.) But in the eighth grade I began to realize myself, I had personal interests. I remember my condition - it seemed to me that it was impossible to waste time. I understood that it was necessary to teach lessons, but you need to make them very quickly, in order to release the time to study the surrounding world and people.

- What happened to this study?

- Anything. I started riding a free city. In fact, I was released one from the third class. We moved to another area of ​​Tashkent, and did not immediately change the school. And last two months I traveled very far from the current standards, with a transfer by bus and on trolleybus and was still going to stops for ten minutes. But then I began to study the city, rode different attractions, friends.

- No, it just was her life program. And when I became an workaholic, I realized that I was lazy, because in my secret thoughts I like nothing more, lie down and watch TV. - As I and the director, and producer, then I combine both organizational and creative qualities in myself. (Smiles.) The film crew is closest to the organization towards the construction, so I am a big master in construction, repair, logistics. But it is always the little things: the outlet, painting, somewhere a piece fell off, you need to screw the plinth ... We have a very small plot, but I have almost all the berries at least one bodice: Raspberry, gooseberry, Irga, Blueberry, Blueberry, Strawberry and Trees - apple tree, plum, cherry, cherry. And everything gives fruit. There are no apples this year, and I just spent the preparatory work so that she bloom. But, I repeat, I'm a terrible lazy. You are obliged to learn how to include it at the right moment, which is very disciplined and forces it in principle to be in working condition and tone. This applies to everything: raising the dog, servicing the garden, construction of the house, ordering new clothes and even a campaign to the restaurant. You're learning to do everything worthy or delegate duties. (Smiles.) I love very much when someone does something for me, relax and do not capricious. In this sense, I am a good travel companion, I do not care about me, I decided everything for me, I enjoy pleasure.

- We cannot go anywhere abroad, even to my parents in Israel. But we try to break out somewhere in the country, I went to Peter, while there was time. Light worked, and we walked with children.
