Notes of the Thai Mommy: "Nontalania takes a lot of time"

Anonim

When we are just soaked in Thailand, all familiar asked a single question: what will you do there? The answer is "tasty there, sweet sleep" few people satisfied. "Well, how, here you are with your husband both such active. Yes, you will go crazy from the fool in a month, "everyone surrounding us tried to convince us.

So, here, in Phuket, it turned out that nothing alone takes a lot of time and effort. We had such a day. Lifting - at 7.00. After a light breakfast (usually these are local fruits in which I still haven't understood, what of them love most) - a trip to the sea. There we splashing two hours, no less. Moreover, every time I get out of the water, as if it was the last swim in my life. What is surprising, this feeling was not lost in a month, nor in two, nor in six months of our stay in Thailand. We still swim every morning in the sea, and every time the whole family pulls me out of the water literally for the hair. Look, in the past life I was at least nervous.

Seafood prices are different, but mostly pleasant.

During water procedures, we have an important family council. We are discussing where we will dine today. Oh, these Thai restaurants! Sometimes I regret that a person can only eat a couple of three times a day. Because so I want to try everything-all, but the forces are not enough forces.

One of our favorite places in Phuket is the village of Marine Gypsy. A noisy fish market is organized every morning. Everything that has just recently swam in the sea is now folded by non-stroke rows on trays. Half of the names of fish, shells and some strange tubes I just do not know. But we are scenario, then another. Prices are very different, but most of them are pleasant. Mussels are about 80 baht per kilogram (in rubles - as much). Fish - 200-250. Shrimps can be bought in 180, but there is also 850. Oysters - 30-35 baht apiece.

The algorithm of action here is such. You type the freshest seafood, then go through the road and in any of the top ten local restaurants give your prey to the cook. Method of cooking You choose from the menu - options for such a quantity that we are still looking for what we like more. While the palm tree of the championship is in a fish or cuttlefish on a grill in a tamarind sauce (Tamarind is such a sour-sweet fruit, outwardly similar to giant peanuts). The cost of making any dish is 100 baht per kilogram. As a result, dinner on the family turns out somewhere around 500-600 rubles. Mmm!

The cook will prepare any fish as you wish.

After lunch, we arrive home, I'm trying to work (in the sense - writing some texts) and - almost always fall asleep. How cool it is to sleep during the day in a cool room, when on the street - heat under forty! So innocently and sweetly I slept, probably only in distant childhood.

Hour an hour at three, again - an attempt to work, which usually ends the fact that my girlfriend, finding me on the network, immediately start writing and calling. An hour and a half, I'm as sweet as I slept, gossiping everything in the world. Amazingly, but with my friends we began to communicate at times more often. At home, we could not be renowned for weeks, well, and now, when thousands of kilometers are divided, for some reason, communication has become vital.

Behind the conversations, unexpectedly darkens the window, we go out to walk around the pier, grabbing different goodies on the go straight from the carts (this is instead of dinner). On the road - a mandatory approach to the spa, where my blackmail foot massage is waiting for me (250 baht after a clock session, I love this country!) Well, it's time to sleep.

Often, this extremely downloaded schedule must somehow shove a visit to the next festival - they are in Phuket such a huge amount that sometimes it seems that the thais is walking year-round. At the festivals, we usually get the best places and the most lackless pieces (a holiday without food for Thai is not a holiday). And only once, from afar of surviving my rounded figure, the policeman was severely blocked by me: "Sorry, but it is prohibited by pregnant women for this holiday." What the hell?
