When I was so far from Moscow, all my friends suddenly became vital for at least one hour a day in order to discuss all pressing problems (thanks to modern means of communication!). But from the compatriots with whom I certainly did not intend to communicate in a foreign land, it was not possible to escape.
They (we) - not only in Russian restaurants. They (we) everywhere. Wherever you go, you will definitely hear your native speech. Official statistics assures that Russians on the island are only five thousand people. In my opinion, lies. Much much more. Thais are trying to master the Russian language. So far, with varying success (I was able to disassemble only "rare souvenirs from seashells" on this ad).

It is clear that foreigners, and thais, including, determine us even faster.

Maybe we were so rolled in the head of the Soviet past, that even young girls and guys can not be laundered from the plaque of the Soviet?
Nevertheless, each of them (us) tries to carefully hide their national affiliation. All the same young guys and girls, having walked native speech at the next table in the restaurant, right there ... go to English. And look at the same time, I must say more comic. Because now it immediately becomes clear that these are Russians who are trying to show the other Russians that they are not Russian.
In short, if we ourselves cannot figure it out with you, then Thais - especially. And all the incomprehensible scary. Probably, so at some point we, Russian, announced a real war on Phuket ...
