On this day (or more specifically, the night) all of Thailand is literally everything - and old, and young, - buy or make beautiful boats from flowers and bamboo and, guessing the desire, send this beauty to the sea or river. It is believed that the spirits of water carry along with this boat all the problems that were in the year. Simultaneously, lanterns are sent to the air - too, of course, guessing the desire. The spectacle from the side is just fascinating. Imagine: thousands of luminous flashlights float over the sea and in the sky, so there is no lighting. It is said that this holiday is already about seven hundred years. Many compare it with Russian Ivan Pupa. But for some reason it seemed to me that it was closer to Valentine's Day. The fact is that Thais is considered to be better to send a flashlight or craft together with their second half. Or with that (TU) who are preparing to become them (her). That is why all night local residents, touching his hands, send their messages into the sea and the sky.
