- Artem, what feelings are experiencing in connection with the first picture? Do you think this is a success?
"I am happy that I took this light, good comedy and that she found her viewer." I was born in the famous family, so I in principle could not demolish my head from success. I have never been accomplished, and to this day I am most important for all the result of the case, and not the attributes of the profession, expressed in recognition, in thousands of interviews or posting photos in instagram. I want me to have more opportunities to shoot what I want. And who determines - success or not success? I think only man himself. I do not seek fame and titles. As Nietzsche spoke: "Know that while you are praised, you are not on your way, but on the road, pleasing to others."

- Yes, but none of us did not understand this. Grandfather We, children, in general saw infrequently. I remember, he came to the cottage for the weekend, was always beautifully dressed, in a suit and with awards - a hero of socialist labor. We never called him grandfather - Dada, and that's it. When they began to grow up, they came home to him and communicated more. The closer to him was Egor (Egor Konchalovsky. - Approx. Auth.). They always found common topics, but I was interested in my grandfather. And the dad spoke about Sergey Vladimirovich, that he himself like a child. Therefore, he did not like children in the usual understanding of this word, treated them as one child to another. This, probably, helped him write such poems. Father's popularity at that time I also did not realize. It was normal, usually, as the fact that celebrities came to our home. The same, by the way, was the Father. It happened, he was late to school, he was asked why, and he answered: "Richter played all night on the piano and did not give to sleep." (Laughs.) We often gathered my father's creative group: and Lesha Artemyev, and Alexander Adabashyan, and Pavel Lebeshev. In the summer, Robert de Niro came, Marchello Mastroanni, many foreign actors and directors. All gathered in the house of Natalia Petrovna (Konchalovskaya - approx. Aut.) Behind the round table. She was a soul of the company, always sat in the center of the table, endless conversations, jokes, "Konchalovka" was shouted without stopping. Natalia Petrovna often did crazy eclairs, and buckwheat pancakes also baked on Carnival. And for me, the taste and smell of childhood is the grandmother's cottage, eclairs who stood on the piano, and fantastic pies. And now Sister Anya, arranging the celebration, pleases guests with ecles on grandmother's recipes. When the father came from a business trip, especially because of the border, which was in Soviet times almost like from space, he invited his friends and buddies to the house.

- Can you say that the movie grew up in the house?
- No, I grew up in the restaurant at home cinema. (Laughs.) Everyone sat down and listened to the stories of the father about the trip. We, children, understood little, we really wanted to sleep, but sat until the very last. And Nikita Sergeevich in the company tells non-stop. He and in this sense a gifted man, a brilliant storyteller. I remember since childhood, as we went to take the jackets in the wardrobe, and he was still talking to someone, already started the car, she continued near her, sat down, opened the window and again ... (laughs.) And we have already broken, and we Get up four hours to school ...
- Mom did not oppose this?
- Mom has already slept in the car. We, of course, were streamlined, but he was all in emotions. His arrival from the expedition was always a big event, so these night vocations were more important than sleep.
- Did you often have a father at the shooting?
- The story of how I was shot in Siberiad at One and a half or two years old, "my horse is already. (Laughs.) And at a more conscious age I played an episode at the Father in the "Ochochy Black". We always arrived at the set during the holidays. And it was fantasy, because you could do what you want: sit with the illuminators, run with the second director to the store for drying, watch the filming and rehearsals ... Everything caused children's delight. I remember well how we lived in St. Petersburg (then Leningrad) in the hotel "Astoria" and how on the "very black" Elena Safonov went to the frame with a dog, and Tasya, Assistant and the father's talisman, walked her. The dog was a battered species, and it was always sorry for her - I fed it during filming with drying.
- And what was the most interesting to you: watch the shooting or to be in the costume, consider props, and maybe look into the operator's camera?
- Everything was interesting. I even had pictures of how they were removed in the scenery, and I folded there some things. There is a photo where Adabashyan, Father and I, shaved naked, stand on the Griboedov Canal. I'm often so string, probably, to be less likely to wash your head. (Laughs.) I remember the mass of scenes, then they shot in detail, slowly. Now, of course, there are no such sensations on the shooting and cannot be, because the speed of work is different, and timing. There are nostalgia for the atmosphere, love and the creativity. Although I saw that at some moments there were cases, everyone was nervous. I remember on the filming of the film "Black" on one of the doubles from the cart, which was driving Marcello Mastroanni, the wheel fell off. And all the Italian part of the group at that moment heard many new Russian words.

- And you also happened on the set?
- Yes, almost every day something was wrong. When we were filmed in America, one of the sound engineers-Americans broke his head about the crane, and we understood that if he went to the police, then the proceedings would begin in order to gain insurance. Or, for example, we shot the fare of the main characters in Dolgoprudna: in the plot - summer, and there was already deep autumn, cold, although the sun shone. - And how are you after such nervous overloads relax? Dad was engaged in sports ...
- Yes, the father had it so. When I once asked him, whether the sport was important in his life, he replied that he had all the best that he came up with the cinema, occurred during the run. As a child, I sometimes ran ten kilometers away. And these jogging took place on Nicolina Mount. Our company was our favorite Shepherd Dog Yana.
- You did not adopt this experience? And where do ideas come to you?
- Everywhere. I confess, I don't always have sports. In contrast to my father, combining shooting and sports is difficult.

- When did you understand exactly what you want to play movies and precisely the director?
- I grew up in this, so I do not remember the case. I learned that Marlend Huziev is recruited in Vgika. I decided to do it. The first one I met there was Philip Yankovsky, who showed me the whole institute. He has already studied at the last year, and they, students, have already shot advertising, all were inspired and business, walked with diaries ... Our course was a direct-acting director. And I do not regret in any way that I chose Huziyev, because he is a big master.
- During his studies hung heavy load of responsibility and fear?
- This cargo was and always will. You will not compare us. Also told the father about the grandfather or Andronon. But those relationships that have developed with people at work are connected exclusively with me, and not with my last name. This is secondary. I could take the surname of my grandmother, but I think that if I studied in Vgika as Artem Malykhin, it still remained for everyone Mikhalkov. It was difficult to hide, and no need.

- Not. Probably, otherwise I would drink. Everyone has his own path. As they say: "From everyone - according to the abilities, everyone in labor."

- We had alliances, and dates. In Vgika, I met my future wife. Dasha was engaged in the preparatory courses, and I have already studied in the second or third. At some point it seemed to me that she liked my fellow students, we quarreled and lost sight of each other. And then collided in a cafe, and it all started again. We started to meet, and later got married. It was a wonderful, fun time. And after thirteen years, our roads spoke, it happens.
- It was difficult for you to enter the new relationship or even stop the eye on someone?
- It was impossible for a long time. The main thing is to take yourself, do not roll into depression, and then life will take its own.

- And what is primary for you today in a woman: attraction, traction, or feeling of shoulder, point of contact?
- Yes, everything is important. But if there is no human sympathy, the feeling will not live for a long time. Chemistry is important, but the Union must hold on a common interest, on understanding. We and Dasha (Artem's girlfriend is called the same as his former wife. - Approx. Aut.) We speak the same language, we have a lot of common interests, we both love to travel, go to theaters, watch movies. I like her sense of humor. It all builds relationships. It is necessary to have a strategic partner next to you, which will support you not only in joy, but also in sadness, and in the mountain.
- And Dad, and Uncle, and even the grandfather, who had a fairly young woman in old age, always enjoyed success with the opposite sex. Did you want the same?
- We all love women in the family. And I'm not an exception. (Smiles.) In my life, there was also a lot of situations about which it is pleasant to remember.
- Did you lend men's conversations with your father and uncle?
- With father - yes. But the conversations, and the advice were rather in the form of jokes, some humor. And with Andrei Sergeyevich - no. He was constantly in traffic. And now they are infrequently communicating.
- Did you consult with your parents or sister about your romantic relationships?
- When I began to meet and live with Dasha, the former wife, then the Soviets did not ask. Although I was only twenty-two years, which I understood there. This is now there is a train of relationships, experience, although "gray in the head, the demon in the edge" - even worse. (Laughs.) Now I am already an adult boy. For my personal choice, no one can influence, but the opinion of the parents is always important to me. With Anya, I sometimes share life situations, I have no secrets from it. - I do not associate a meeting with Dasha with the fact that I started shooting movies. It seems to me that these are parallel worlds. But the state of love should always be.

- I do not feel this difference aged, and Dasha, in my opinion, too. We have a dialogue, it's nice. There is no ideal people and relationships, it is a big job. You must be able to make compromises, it is very important.
- Divorce did not affect the attitude of the daughter to you?
- No, Natasha was ten, she already understood everything. Different situations were, given that he wrote about it in the press, and something was talked to school. She, of course, worried and worried. But, thank God, we communicate well.
- You probably have closed topics? Still she is a girl.
- I think the girls are always closer to the Father. I want Natasha tell me what she was going on, did not close. And he always knew that I was the person who she wishes only good. And since I still feel myself a young, gambling person, then we communicate with my daughter as friends. Although, of course, she realizes that I am a father.
- Did you have a closer to my mother's relationship than with dad?
- I have a very good relationship with my mother, and at the sisters too. I could share something with her, but never was a Mamienica son. Although the parents were controlled by all. (Laughs.) Mom worried when we later came. Although we were quite attentive, but the shoals happened: and they did not say where we were going, and ran out of the house, and was late. Mom is still experiencing for us, and now also for grandchildren.
- Do you remember some moments of endless happiness?
- From the recent ... on the filming of the film. There were complex shifts, including the night, we moved from one object to another, I tried up - and there was a very warm sunny day - and suddenly I realized what a happy person I am doing a favorite thing. (Smiles.) I remember well this feeling. More ... I did a movie about my father for the anniversary, and we have already mounted everything, but could not find a disc with the chronicle, which Jura Nikolayev took off. And then I came to the parents to visit and, talking about something, accidentally opened the drawer of the table and found a disc, where it was written: "Nikolina Mountain. Summer". - Artem, have you been "golden youth"? Fyodor Bondarchuk said that they with friends considered themselves such. And you may have more stricter, there were prohibitions, financial restrictions?
- The concept of "golden youth" implies permissiveness. We were in the family quite strictly brought up. At school and at the institute were those who envied and disliked. But the main thing always remained that we were represented from themselves.
- For you, expensive brand clothes were important?
- Our family has never had a clothing. I have a half-empty closet in my youth and especially did not care how I dress. But it does not mean that we lived well! Just did not bother on this topic. I do not remember any special outfits and my mother, although it has always been connected with the fashion industry. But at the same time dressed just and tastefully. Now I rarely go to fashion shows and do not update my wardrobe, because a new collection has appeared. It seems to me how to buy very expensive things, it is better to spend money on travel.
- You in youth worked as an assistant operator on several documentaries on Trite. Then earned my first money?
- No, before that I made a photo of my father. She was placed in the calendar, and they even paid the fee. Although I was so happy. Then in the transition to the "Pushkin" I saw how these calendars were sold with a fishing portrait made with my photo. It was strange and nice.
- You are the President of the Film Festival "Movement". You can reproach that, they say, and the Father has a festival, and you need ...
- I need it! I'm warming me that I'm sorranted to good, good deeds, which helps young movies. And then ... to do so in Omsk, and not in Moscow or in St. Petersburg, - great! We are just four years old. And I am very pleased with the results. Our film "Without skin" Vladimir Beck participated in the European Cinema Festival in Vologda, and "At the tips of the fingers" Roman Supper received the main prize at the Russian documentary festival in New York, and Daniel Zinchenko was invited to Berlin Film Festival. Now in the cinemas of Omsk lacked places for those who want to watch competitive films. And I am very glad that this city becomes an interactive platform of young cinematographers and as a magnet attracts guests and spectators from other regions.
- You did not cool down to the acting profession, you are not going to throw it?
- On the contrary, I just want to develop acting skills. And with the director now a small pause, but we write the script of the adventure drama.
