Moreover, by passing them with its own compatriots, using the fact that the Russians do not speak any languages.
Of course, about this "features" of Phuket, we knew even before moving. But the Far East and Siberia goes here for the "Golden Taurus". Simple it was here that all the requirements that we put forward to our new place of residence were coincided. And we needed:
- Summer all year round (fashionable now at downsifters Chiang Mai, that in the north of Thailand, disappeared automatically);
- Clean lagoon with snow-white sand and turquoise water (which is not, for example, nor in noisy Pattaya, nor in a powerful Hua Hin);
- international level of hospitals (after all, in addition to childbirth, we trusted the lives of our newborn son);
- International schools (live forever in Thailand, we are not going to live, so the daughter did not burn with the desire to teach Thai, but English and French - as now in her Cambridge School - will be accurate).
Despite the huge number of tourists in Phuket, you can still find absolutely deserted beaches.
And, of course, I wanted all the benefits of civilization at the spent prices. Only Phuket, after long searches and comparisons, answered all these requirements.
By the way, among the Thais themselves neither the island nor the islanders do not use special love. Somehow in Bangkok our random acquaintance, Tapet, told such a story. For accuracy, I do not pass, but the version itself is funny.
