Kamchatka is a unique place where I have long dreamed of visiting. And this year my dream was realized. To say that I was amazed by the beauty of these places - say nothing. I am still impressed yet. As our guide said: "Nature tried very hard, creating this edge." Incredible, the combination of snow-covered vertices of volcanoes and the gray-blue buffeling Pacific does not leave indifferent. These places have an incredible energy, and I was happy to touch this power.
In Kamchatka, there are 10% of volcanoes around the world, each bear accounts for 7 locals and each day they happen small, but earthquakes. By the way about local residents: these are fabulous kindness and responsiveness people. I have never seen so many sincere smiles, and for the first time I truly learned what "Russian hospitality" is.

The indigenous population of Kamchatka - Koryaki, Eventers and Chukchi and with the study of their life and traditions and would recommend starting the journey. There are various ethnographic excursions, in which you will see national accommodation (portable frame junctions and hencenters), try local dishes, you can take part in traditional dance and try national clothes. I happened to try the "kitchenet" (fur shirt) - which is 150 years old, and it is still in excellent condition and warms up in a lighter Kamchatka frost.

The main way of movement in Kamchatka was once driving dogs, and now the riding dog breeding is reborn, and local pets even participate and defeat in international competitions. And I could not deny yourself the pleasure of riding. On the trip you go on one and pass the preliminary briefing how to manage a hammer with riding dogs.
In Kamchatka, every year is a check in, where teams from around the world compete. And after - again you can return to Yaranga, where you will prepare fragrant tea from local herbs with traditional cakes.
Avachinsky Sopka - the acting volcano of Kamchatka. The volcano, which we see it today, appeared 11 thousand years ago, when eruption of the previous volcano. Just imagine his age! The last eruption, by the way, was in 1991. On the hill there is an opportunity to climb. Climbing and descent will take about 10 hours. Between Koryak and Avachinsky volcanoes there is a tourist base where you can stay at night. But it is better to specify this in advance, the capacity of the base is less than 30 people.
At the entrance to the Avachin Bay you can see the attraction, which is called "Three Brothers". This is a group of three marked cliffs. The best view of them opens during the sea walk by the island of old mans to the Russian bay. I left it on a summer trip to Kamchatka, and in the winter was loved by the brothers from afar.
Vilyuchini waterfall is located 40 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and is located on the north-western slope of the same name Villucin volcano. By car we were brought to the foot of the volcano, and after, another 2.5 kilometers, we walked. Only rose, as I see that someone flies to him by helicopter. This option takes place, but I never regretted that I went on foot. Yes, not easy.

Yes, cold and snow flies in the face. But it's worth it! When we reached the waterfall, I was amazed: frosts stood such that the frozen waterfall and turned into a huge icicle. Those who will be in these edges in spring or summer will already be able to see the waterfall with all its power. But I have never seen so that the water flowing down at high speed is so frozen.

Kamchatka in winter and Kamchatka in the summer - two different kamchatka. It is not necessary to hurry now to catch snow, you can wait for the summer and get no less pleasure, let it be other paints. I am now planning to visit the peninsula in the warm season.
