Notes of Thai Mommy: "Difference from Russia - vaccination from Japanese Encephalitis"

Anonim

Our visit to the hospital coincided with the next vaccination. And this time I was seriously prepared for this procedure. During the birth, Stefan made a number of vaccinations, as I told me orally and writing. Then I was given a schedule of all other vaccinations. By sending it to Moscow to the all-knowing friend, I sighed with relief: all the same as in Russia, no surprises. Therefore, he was given to the power of Thai doctors. They act as a well-established mechanism: a couple of days before the next vaccination, they necessarily call and remind of the need to come to the hospital. Already after the vaccination, they give leaves with a list of what could happen to the child (most importantly, of course, an increase in temperature) and how to react.

... However, in the meantime, there were serious passions in the Russian press on the need for vaccinations in general and some of them in particular. Therefore, it was necessary to postpone all the cases and surround the question on their own - the same there, in the end, instill my son.

So, comparing two tables, I realized that the girlfriend was right. Indeed, in Thailand, kids make all the same vaccinations as in Russia. Even from Tuberculosis at birth (although I read here in one promotion note, that such vaccinations remained only in the Russian Federation, the most backward country on the planet, and more - nowhere). As you can see, not true.

Hospital doctors warn about vaccinations in a couple of days. This is how the children's office looks like, where you need to wait for your turn.

There are also a number of vaccinations, which seem to be optional, but the doctor is obliged to offer them. For example, from pneumonia and from rotiousral infections (it seems so). In this case, parents choose themselves, it is worth doing them or not. After meetings with girlfriends on Skype, I was decided from additional vaccinations to refuse. The doctor did not insist, only made an entry in an individual vaccination book, which has every child (this is, in addition to the usual electronic card, which is stored in the computer base of the hospital and which, if desired, can be asked to throw you on a flash drive or trite print).

I say, they are Buddhists, these Thai doctors. And everything is calm, sometimes even too much. You do not want to do one or another vaccination, the doctor just smiles: "Up to You". Like, your child, you and decide. No written failures, as in Russia, is nothing. Equally, as in school (kindergarten) you will not demand that the child will be binding ("And then you will disable you hot water").

Well, since we reached the hospital, I decided to find out when, finally, we can, together with Stefan, to make swims in the sea - in the end, it was for this that we moved to Thailand. But in this matter our attending physician was unexpectedly categorical ...
